For some odd reason, when I place Diplomacy into my Impulse cart, I am unable to click the checkout button to complete the purchase. The "checkout" button reamins blue and is unresponsive when clicked on. I am unsure whether this is a problem with Impulse, or it is through connection on my end.
I do like the "no icons" idea - in addition to making them harder to find, it might save a little strain on machines when we play. Not much, mind you, but it should be enough to be noticed.
yeah. i mean when i turn off my tradeship icons i get an additional 7fps when zoomed in

What they should do rather than making them invisible is simply not have the icons show up unless a scout is near them. while not completly invisible, it makes looking for them without a scout turn into something that requires a player to ignore other things just to zoom in and find the mines
ok, I sent the minidump straight to them. Does anyone think it was kinda assholish of me to stick around even though it was 4v1? I mean... i had a giant fleet of 1337 hax... but... you know?
No, good for you. I hate it when people leave when the game isn't over. If you can stay and fight even if you are outnumbered playerwise, you still have a chance. especially in long games when you already have biult up a fleet

I was more thinking along the lines of the map being used in multiplayer. if you're playing AI the single path is fine. But against a human player, the single path would take too long
ya, or he could make his own map the way he wants it.
All i'm saying is that if its only one path, than all you have to do is turtle up and the only thing that with win the game is a MASSIVE late game fleet just to kill a single player, or TEC with multiple Megalith Cannons. The dual paths can help end the game in a human lifetime

One idea for this is to double the lines of planets for each person to add a bit more strategy and danger to the players. as the player moves forces up the planets, you leave your other path open for attack from other players. Something like this O----O----O----O O < &nbs

Granted, but in the first few minutes of your first practice, your foot gets caught in the pool drain and in order to free yourself to keep from drowning, you break your foot in multiple places. In the surgery to set the bones, the doctor slips while operating. You are now permanatly disabled and have a disfigured foot. When people see your foot, they cringe and openly show revolt. You go through life being shunned from "normal" people. After several years of dispair, you turn to drug
