I experienced the same with certain skins, for example using "Cardinal" skin. The preview is all black and the bars are worst than those in Windows 3.11. I've also noticed that skins usually don't install if applied from within the webpage. Noticed since RC1 through final SP2. Unistalling WB or the skin is useless.

Unable to shut off with Object Bar running in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

I have been experiencian problems trying to turn off my machine when the Object Bar is running. The only choice is to either log off or exit the Object Bar, then from the Windows logon screen, I can turn off the machine. Also, I would like to know if it's possible to search from the main Wincustomize page, since I have been trying to install a theme but fails to download a "nonexistent" so called "beatnik.exe" file.

Which settings are you talking about? Is this Skinbrowser a must to download these styles?
