Reply to Choppy performance in Vista in CursorFX WinCustomize Forums

My cursor doesn't get choppy but after my laptop wakes from sleep I get prolonged very high CPU utilization (%90-100) if Cursor FX had been activated prior to sleep. I have vista ultimate. Eventually it lowers but I think it still stays up in the 15-40% range until I shut down CFX. If I reactivate it it is fine again until waking from sleep. Thanks for your time.

So if I upgrade to Plus it won't install over the free version? If this is so how do I maintain my settings, downloaded backgrounds/icons, and configuration? Won't uninstalling the free version also uninstall all of these (bundled images and such)? Thanks for your time.

Update failier for WB6 and DeskScapes in Stardock Support General WinCustomize Forums

When I try to update both WB6 and DeskScapes SD Central hangs and says that the install failed. If I check version number in WB6 it says 6.02 but SD central says 6.01 but DeskScapes says the older version in both. No failure is noted in the log and WB6 log actually says install successful. They both show up in the object desktop list as needing to be updated and pop up as such when I start SD central. Can anyone help?

Noob Q's in Object Desktop WinCustomize Forums

I'm considering purchasing Object Desktop but have a few noob questions first. How much hard drive space does it take up on installation? How big is an average suite file? I have a Vista Ultimate Laptop. Do you recommend just windowblinds or is the whole shebang worth the extra $30? Any other suggestions/info would be great. Thanks for your time.
