I also find myself usually playing lan games. The online community worries too much about number crunching and they don't rank games or matches on skill. I'm in the HoN beta (a friend just invited me a few days ago) and I'm really liking how much better that online is done, I can join new player games or casual games and acutally play with people around my skill level. I find this very enjoyable. Usually its just me and my wife playing ai matches (sometimes we get my brother in for some 3v3).

Is it possible to make a favor item that scales with level, say +100 armor/level so it grows with you (though 600 armor + 50armor/level sounds a bit more balanced)?

I too am having the same problem on LAN games. After the last beta update, it doesn't seem to crash as often, but me and my brother cannot finish a game on LAN. We usually play on med/large maps (random) and we like to turtle a bit and tech up, no problems early on, but then when we start to go teir 8 in research we seem to loose sync. This is very annoying as we have wasted several hours playing and have not been able to finish a game. Is there anythings anyone knows we can do?
