Ok so i found 2 drivers i have an Nvidia GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 So i found one that is listed for GeForce 6 series which is version 178.24 and i found one for nForce 430 that is version 15.24 do i just download the 178.24 or both?
I used the device manage to have it get the most resent drivers form NVidia but it still crashes, I have also tried removing all mods, and checked to see if the error occured with DL and DA which it does not, i will look to see if i can find more resent drivers again using the link you provided and see if that corrects the error. thanks
Ok So here is the debug for my crashing twilight; part of me keeps thinking that the trigger is related to some random event but i don't even know how to read this thing. Please anyone who understands how to id the problem please point me in the right direction I also found some error reports for the crashes in my windows vista event viewer, but again i don't know how to read it I pasted the most recent one after the debug in case that provides some additional insight into the problem

Ok this is going to be a long thread cause i have several things i need to get answers for I downloaded Twilight a while back and everything worked just fine, but resently i have started having a problem where it is crashing randomly during play. It just closes down and vista gives me a little window saying it is trying to figure out whats wrong and then says it can't figure it out so it shuts down. Ok well here is what i did and the results/problems that have occurred I took the standard MinorRace tech tree and added 4 new technologies which are aligned with the custom race I am creating (each of the new tech's provides some of the racial bonuses I intended for the race) I then reassigned some of the techs to new prerequisites such as changing xeno research to require traditional research instead of planetary improvement and switching all of the tech's that require "Plane

I found the file it is saved in Galciv2/twilight/Data/English/TechTree's What i did was I copied the Terrian tech tree and saved it into a new name through the techtree editor, changing the internal and display names and then added/removed/replaced several tech's I also rearranged some of the tech requirements (I removed planetary Improvement and set the techs that require planetaty improvement to a couple of different techs) What did I do wrong?
I have been trying to use the editor provided with twilight, When i press save as in the editor and give it a name its all well and good and I can reload it through the editor but when I run the game and select custom race and go to tech selection it only shows the normal list of tech tree's Also, even though I save the file to the same location as all of the prebuild tech tree's when I explore that location through windows it does not show up and I can't seem to find that loc
What about creating one or more new technologies? I created a new tech tree with several race specific techs but i did not show up when i tried to start a new game Did I miss something?
