Even more irritating, since the patch I cannot join a game without getting "you have been kicked" before I even get into the game's lobby.

Also, most of the time when I can see a game in lobby, it's only EU, russian, or occasionally aussie. Does that have something to do with it ?

1.When I go to custom game, only 3 or 4 multiplayer games will show up. There should be WAY more than 4 games being hosted at any one time. Where are the rest? 2. Also, no matter what, skirmish and pantheon mode say they are still trying to place me in a match, but never do. 3.
