Ugh.

Why are you complaining when you could be playing the current beta? Do you think that you'll get to play the sims3 when you plop down that empty box at bestbuy? You'll lose five bones plus tax and get a receipt! My SO got me the pre-order for Entrenchment for Christmas! And I'm still happy about it, 'cuz I can play the best version they have right now. Considering video games are continuously updated, it's kinda like you only really have a 'beta' of the
Well, I figured out why I was crashing. After I patched fror some reason, Creative ALchemy was causing a conlict with Vista causing it to just crash out. I removed SOASE from the active AL listing and it worked fine. After that I found a way to correctly address Creative AL so that now it works like it should. Sorry if I seem cross, but I was waiting so long for the update and then that hit and I just sorta lost it.
Re-installing did nothing, what the heck do I gotta do to play my game? It never behaved like this before this last patch.
My game hasn't worked since the update FINALLY came through. The screen goes black like it's gonna work, then it just crashes back onto my desktop and windows tells me a problem prevents Sins from running. I'm trying to re-install to see if my version got messed up while I was waiting but am not optimisic. I waited for months to play this game with it's fabled patch, but now i'm just getting more headaches. Please let me know if this is something I can fix, o
Ugh, this is what I hate about AoC, too. Look, I'm an adult, I have a family of flesh-and-blood people, I have a full time job. I don't have the time resources to spend an entire bloody weekend playing ten other folk in a sixty planet star system. If you don't like the game's AI then you just adjust it in the game set-up. What do you want them to do? You want to be able to hold them over a barrel and say: "Gimme all your crystal or I'll bomb Aldeberan back t
I haven't had any problems with impulse with my Vista 64 load yet. Then I havn't tried to download from it either. I have to comment, though, that making it have to handle stuff that, to my knowledge, was working just fine does nothing to heighten it's popularity. I think multiplayer anything (excepting shooters) is pretty overated anyway. I don't play videogames so I would have to deal with humans. Now one of my favorite single-player games has a fat update bein
Seriously.
I vote for pomposity, its even more lethal - but then, thats none of my business, I live in UK Regards Zy
Touch`e, sir.
I dont give a rats about the politics, thats a contrived issue frankly, the past is past, move on as they say, cant turn the clock back however much we might like to. -Zy -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I would like for you to get a dictionary and re-read this. After that I would like for you to ponder whether ignorance or apathy is most dangerous to America right now. Sorry I quoted incorrectly.
Also, it's not Bush's fault as much as it is Congress's continuing blunder. Bush can propose any dumb-arsed thing he could come up with, but it takes gullible congress members to make it a law. The United States Constitution gives the ability to wage war only to congress for a very good, and often forgotten reason. If the United States is at war and you don't like it, Congress has let you down, not the President. Bush will be gone soon, but we will have to live with his monstrous Sup
We're all shmucks, get over it.
How about a checkbox for those who want a clock? Those who don't want the clock can leave it disabled. Everyone wins!
I thought I covered that when I said 'optional clock', but okay However you want to do it, I'm trying to run a household as well as an interstellar empire, and while the empire is more fun, my whole family gets screwed when I burn dinner. I appreciate that these are fairly mundane reasons, but I got 'em.
I sure hope you guys are gonna school Sid Meier and chuck a neat looking clock integrated into the interface. I know I could just check the time on a mundane 'meat' clock somewhere on my desk. But that isn't the point. I think it harms the immersive experience to 'break' with the screen area to look elsewhere in the room. That isn't why I have a 30-inch display. I think that an optional clock mounted halfway accross the top of the screen would do nicely. It can't be that hard, I'm still in
Do not double post. Do not triple post. There is an edit button for a fucking reason. Don't tell me what to do, you're not my father. And until you can learn enough manners to not use language like that with a total stranger on a public website I really don't think you should be teaching anyone anything. Thank you for your time. And again.

I mean, I mean, okay. Okay? Okay.
I mean, do you really want Civ IV to have one and not Sins? I mean, they never leave Earth until the end of the game!
For chrissakes, just make sure you include a clock. A little one on the screen somewhere, or maybe a big one superimposed over the background, tastefully arrange out of space dust or stellar phenomena, I don't care how, but please recognize that some of us are working parents that cannot always afford to lose track of the time in this wonderful game y'all've put together.
All I really want, and I will duplicate this in the update forum, is the addition of a clock. A real clock that pins to the top of the screen so that I don't have to look away (hard), to neurotically check the time (easy). Civ IV has one, why don't you?
