I was so looking forward to this game. You know, since its a Stardock game. The same people that put out Galactic Civ 2. Probably the most fun 4X game I've ever played. It's just great that I can't get a refund for the $50 I spent on this game when it first came out. Now, I'll just have to wait till it is patched enough so I can play it and actually have fun. Probably once that happens the price will be lowered from $50. Meanwhile I will just weep and watch tv... :(

I have a similar setup and when I play Sins it has to be pretty much on the lowest settings, though I keep the resolution at 1280x1024. The game is playable but large space battles get really bogged down and whenever I open up the research UI the game significantly slows down to where it takes about 15 seconds or so for it to register what you want to research or just to get a mouse over tooltip.

One time I got the Dread Lord event the planet they got in control of was a PQ46 planet. I knew they'd probably become a threat if I left them alone so I wiped them out, especially since they were closest to me and really far from anyone else. I should've just left them to see what they'd do but I did kinda want that pq46 planet for my own uses :CONGRAT:

More AI improvements would be nice. Like how the AI handles building up their planets is not very efficent. If there was somehow a code or whatever that would help them to create more specialized planets that would be great. As it is now it really holds them back as it hurts their economy as well as ship production. I know I could probably adjust their difficulty level and give them a boost to their economy, but such an advantage only is mostly helpful in the early stages of the game and when ev

Whenever I open up the research screen the game slows down to a snails pace. After mousing over something to research it takes about 20 seconds or so for the tooltip to show up and after I click it takes about another 20 seconds for it to acknowledge the command. I run the game's graphics at pretty much the lowest settings. 1.8ghz 512mb RAM RADEON 9800pro (128MB Windows XP Any sort of insight as to why it does that would be neat.
