When does this come out again? So very excited!
Ah. Very cool to know that you can do whatever you want in Forge. Fortunately, I have a 8600GT and 4GB of ram, so I may be able to do a big game. I fully understand how long a game takes to win - I have yet to beat the CPU in 1hr 30min that the demo gives you (provided, I'm not an aggressive player).
So am I to assume, then, that having such a game would take a very long time to complete?
Big question to determine if I purchase Sins... On the random single player games, how large are the "huge" games? The demo gives you a very respectible solar system of 20 points of interest, but is a "medium" world. How large can you get the playing area up to? How many planets (or points of interest) can you get up to? Can you allow multiple solar systems? I believe the demo stated you could. If so, how do multiple systems work? Thanks!
I dont see the debug.err file in my GalCiv directory. Any ideas?
Having major issues with DR. I havent played much of the basic GalCiv2, but I believe it was fine. The issue is seeming to get worse today. What happens: 9/10 times, the text for various things seems to be messed up and unreadable. I can get a screenshot if needed. Next issue: At random intervals (no real rhyme to how it crashes), the screen will go black and randomly reset. Specs: (new laptop I jusr got) Intel Dual core (1.6ghz) 1gb DDR2 Ram
Hey all. Just thought I'd try to get some info about Galactic Civ 2 before I make the plunge and buy it tommorow (if I do). Anyways, a few questions: Spec wise, I know it requires a 600mhz/128mb ram/64mb ram v-card. Is there ANYWAY I can get around the 64mb V-card? Mine has 32megs. It's a 1.2ghz athlon, and it seems like the specs are fairly normal for an older game, but the video card is kinda high compared to everything else. My computer is recently formatted with to
