try to stay away from the secret police center since it can't be decommisioned later. And I noticed no real morale change once it's built. What I am attempting to do now is create a super capacity colony ship and just send them out into space somewhere. All the habitable planets are taken. Hopefully a severe enough drop in the population will provide a short term solution.

First problem this newbie has is making a profit in this game. I research trade to the max and have all the routes allowable. Other than taxes what can I do? My approval keeps dropping more and more even though I have researched and built reality centers. The only thing that makes moral go up is starting a war which leads to my next question. Why do I keep getting beat up?

- I'm sure this has been mentioned, but I don't understand why it's a) impossble to launch transports with 0 population and b) why it's possible to take the pop slider to zero. Removing one or the other of these conditions would make transports far less irritating to use. The ship has a crew like any other so I don't see why it needs pop aboard to launch, but in that case

I have now played two games in which I built this (very early) in order to use some fast scouts to grab as many goodies as possible. Both times after I have built it i still can only survey with ships equipped with a survey module. Sad tiny scouts, had to destroy the little buggers.
