Hi All, I've got a month left on my scrip and am trying to get the newest WindowsFX and WindowBlinds, but after a minute of downloading, both updates crash out with "invalid chunk" errors. Any ideas? Thanks! Russ

You'll have major problems if it's not running. How so? I never saw it running before when everything was "Object Desktop" and not "Stardock Central". FWIW, I MUCH preferred the old Object desktop "Component Manager" to the new SD Central garbage. Like anything else, you just get used to it and somebody feels the need to change it for y

I keep finding this process running (XP-PRO) but cannot see how it is loading. There is no reference to it in any of the "startup" areas and a registry search only finds it under "HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\control\session manager\appcompatibilty". I don't like my 'puter running things I have no apparent control over. TIA! Russ <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif

I bought the whole suite, but at this point, I'm only using the 'blinds program (for skins). I tried the Object Bar and actually got my icon to show up by diddling with the settings, but right-clicking it's icon would not generate a menu. I'm back to just the 'blinds and still cannot get my icon to show. Would it being written in VB have anything to do with it?

Hi All, I'm a new user having trouble with a program I wrote in VB5 that minimizes to the system tray. After installing the Stardock suite, whenever the program loads, the icon never shows up in the tray. Since it's the only method of operating the program (it's hidden from the taskbar), I cannot use it. Short of rewriting the program, is there any possible solution? Thanks!
