Sorry for not having anything to contribute, but I'm just glad you use that System Alliance logo from Mass Effect I made! :D By the way, your ship looks quite good for something made in Google Sketchup, I always thought it was nothing more than a programme to build Facilities and other various buildings. I had problems with textures myself back in the SW mod development but I was never able to fix them.
Master U
Why not? By replacing the default files of the textures he can set his own. For example, replace all the Breathable planet textures with a different set of pictures, so if he selects a planet as a Breathable/Habitable one, it will be the texture he selected.
What is the maximum resolution of the generator? Can it make large textures? (2048x1024 and/or 4096x2048)? Also, it seems very similar to the Photoshop plugin LunarCell hich also makes textures and clouds at any resolution you need. It's truly a device for the lazy. If you really want to make good textures, make them yourself, combine and mix, I always get good results when I create my own texture. I use it primarily to make wallpapers and Space Art, not for use in models or games lik
The size is entirely dependant on the scale of the X model. I once converted a 3ds model into X file and the result was so big it was in the size of a Tiny galaxy map. I then rescaled it and got the desired size I wanted. So Raruto, if you don't have a proper 3D modelling programme, you can't modify the current default ship scales.
Banned for having 0 Karma. Also, can't believe it has 126 pages just since April 1st...
Hmm, well whatever I do the logo just appears as one coloured and not multi-coloured. Maybe it's a problem with the logo I guess. If you could post screenshots and I will post screenshots we could solve this out? You see I made the logo and I pasted it in the channel, but it doesn't appear (only the outline of it). I can draw in the channel but that won't help because it won't look like the already made logo.
What do you mean? In each RGB channel I *paste* the logo and place it in the right position, but the logo will lose colour and adapt to the layers. In the Alpha channel it turns grayscale while in the others - Red, Green and blue. Also, it seems that the Alpha channel is not directly linked to the actual layers, and the RGB layers *are* linked. I think if you change one, you change all, so how can I work individually on each one?
Oh this is great! Thank you Neterw, I didn't think it is that simple in Photoshop! I will go continue my mod then. Many thanks! :D EDIT: Is there any way for the Logo to be saved with it's current colours? I don't wish my logo to be one-coloured, but with all of its colours. Any chance of that?
With the recent release of Killzone2 I decided to make a mod about it, featuring the ISA and the Helghast. The story is no problem to make since the planet Vekta and Helghan are both located on the same system (which is exactly how Sins works). For those who know the game and those who don't, I have a question: With my 2D experience art, I created 2 logos of the 2 factions, and the first thing I'm going to do in the mod is to implement those logos. Question is: how? I have exactly al
I thought that no mods were uploaded cause no one would bother to make any new mods, but now I see it's a problem with the uploading. The Library is really a crucial part of the modding community, please if you can give us any ETA on when we can finally show our mods to the public again, we will really appreciate it - I think I speak for all those modders when I say that.
That's why Mass Effect 2 is coming. I don't get it though, they said we'll be able to use our last character, but Commander Shepard is dead, wth?
Actually we were in the making of one single model, the Normandy, I don't want what happened to the artist who were in charge of that. I deal mostly with 2D Arts, models aren't my style sorry :P
Hey Darth-me, A Mod Team for a GC2 Mass Effect Mod has been online in December, but went inactive afterwards. I can help you out with graphics from what we had if you need them. -MU
Thanks harpo99999 and psugar, I managed to start where I wanted. Thanks for the help! :)
I just made my map in Galaxy Forge the new version, I start my game and it appears I've been assigned as the wrong player. Now I didn't change anything about the players. There are two, NewPlayer0 and NewPlayer1. I assumed I am NewPlayer0 so I gave him more resources than NewPlayer1... To have unfair advantage on him. Also, the map I created works exactly as I pre-planned for my game, with planets placed in vital locations as well. I start the game, and it gives me Player1's resources

Henosis, the image of the human race can be changed however you want. It doesn't really have to represent the human race cuase technically it can even be an image of a pair of shoes or even some advanced form of human evolution you found 5 minutes ago in Google. You just need to search the web for pics you like and put them in the Race folder under GFX. Then select them in-game.
double post
AytchMan, simply because the races have 10 techs while you only 1 or 2 does not relay on the willingness to trade field. Depending on the level you chose to play with, the AI will cheat whenever it wants and play unfair, this may be another reason for their quick jump in techs. I remember when some posted that the AI's ship have a ridiculous high number of logistics or laser units in their ships.

Just to make it a whole easier for you, just make a shortcut of the game's exe and in the address (after you did right click>properties) add this line to the end: GC2TwilightOfTheArnor.exe" cheat This will make your life easier as well, all about cheats: https://www.galciv.wikia.com/wiki/Cheats_and_keyboard_shortcuts <br /
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there an advert regarding HW3 coming out in 2010 or something?
I cannot for the life of me get this cheat to work. Just what the hell am I doing wrong?
Probably stupid question, but... Do you have cheats enabled? If so, check Ctrl-M to make sure, money should be added to your game if cheats does work, then try again. Scoutdog, it may be something with the Interface options, try to play with that.
