Honestly, it's your ability to bridge seemingly-unrelated subjects without skipping a beat. I've seen you say something about the game in one sentence, then immediately mention in the next sentence something about kittens, then the following sentence you say something about a forum poster. You go from A to P to X and not from A to B to C. Reading things you write is... fascinating. It's refreshing, and somewhat u

A mediocre actor famous for a mediocre series of films. I'm sure the world will mourn the loss that he won't be in Fast and Furious 7 thru 99.
As early 64bit adopter since the first Athlon 64 came out ten years ago. Finally I can say thank you to a game developer for making a game that requires 64bit on the PC platform.
Chris Robert's Star Citizen was announced last year and it is a 64bit only game running Frostbite 3 engine. Minimum requirements (for alpha) Windows 7 or 8 64-bit Dual Core CPU Intel: Core2 Duo 2.4Ghz </s
Q: When will Galactic Civilizations III come out? A: We don’t expect it to be ready for release for quite a while. As of this writing (fall 2013) it is in internal alpha testing. We expect it to go into the Founder’s alpha early next year and a public beta soon to follow. Does no one read the FAQs? There's a reason why its call Frequently Asked Questions. [e digicons]:S[/e]
The sadly failed Lost Empire: Immortals attempted to address this issue with the creation of point defence, small, medium and large class weaponry. The PD guns were available on all hull classes except for the Patrol hull. It was broken down like this: Small weapons on Patrol (1), Frigate (2) and Destroyer (1) Medium weapons on Frigate (1), Destroyer (2), Cruiser (2) Large weapons on Cruiser (2) and Battleship (4) The numbers represent how many weapon s
If I wake up tomorrow and find out this was all a dream I will cry.
Unique super-ships. Like TEC could build a super battleship (follows basic human thinking: bigger is better). It can be powerful but very slow and with one special ability. The Varisi could have a ship that can cloak a fleet for a limited time. Costs a HUGE amount of antimatter and the ships cannot fire under cloak. And the Advent could have a ship that converts an entire planet to its side. dunno what could off set this though
I love using the Dominas!! I always keep some in any fleet I create and if the enemy tries to retreat I freeze as many as possible and mop up.
Playing as the Advent I had my entire fleet made up of carriers and cap ships. 250 squads of fighters and bombers overwhelms most fleets, even those with sizeable anti-fighter defences. But usually I only create a modest amount of strike craft and these are usually used for attacking retreating forces or the small frigates that outrun my larger ships.
This is gonna sound so weird... I created a galaxy with the Forge and saved it to where I installed Sins. Started Sins but the map doesn't appear in the game. Figured I forgot something so I went back to the Forge and double-checked everything. That's when I noticed that my custom galaxy doesn't exist in Windows Explorer. I did a search for the file but recieved no hits but the Forge shows me my galaxy and loads it find. Any ideas?
"Cheats" are also for ppl who decide halfway thru the game that they wat to take on ALL the computer players (Obscene diff. level) at the same time. Sometimes even with the cheats I still lose but the 2 or so hours I spend losing is loads of fun!!
Check the military rating and the number of ships that the Yor have. I usually find that a large gap in either of the two will make alliances harder to make (unless u r more powerful than the other). U could also try researching more diplomatic techs. If the Yor go to war against another civ (or is attacked) creating a common enemy is a pretty easy way to form an alliance. Viper1989
Ok i've seen the ai build several economic starbases around the same planet/star system. Does the economic bonus stack up? like if i had 2 starbases around one planet with 20% bonus each would they give me 40% total?
I continued a game (DL not DA) on gigantic size, minors on, and "Unlimited Power" scenario and I saw one of the minor civ's starbases move. Initally i thought i imagined it but during the next turn it moved again. the info screen show 5 movement points. Has this happened to any 1 else?
After reading the Stargate Mod post I realized that there seemed to be no Star Wars Mod. I kinda thought Star Wars would be one of the first total converts. Is any1 working on one?
-More hull sizes -More types of hulls (like 7 more for each class) -New civs that play radically different -Ultimatum button (do this or else) -New weapons Wish list: -Ability to create better alliances like on Imperial glory. In that game if two people are allies and a third wants in, both must agree and then the third will be allied to the other two (therefore a three-way alliance) -Nukes (why invade a class 4 planet? I would rathe
Does DA address the issue of the AI sending single troop ships with no escorts? And why do they send wave after wave of transports instead of sending a fleet of them?
A couple questions about what's going on. 1) Can I just make all my trade routes to go to the other players 3 planets? and have 10 or however many routes to those planets? Is there any penalty to doing that? 2) Is it possible to make your economy viable without trade? and if so, how? 3) What improvements should I be concentrating on to improve my economy and do you guys have purely economic worlds (if so how do you choose what worlds) 4) Do you guy
My planet list is usually set to class (number of usable squares)-- high to low. All of a sudden it was low at the top to high at the bottom. Now I know a lot of lists in programs can be reversed but I didn't see a button to do that. It would be really annoying for the list to go from low to high (particularly for colonizable planets). I reloaded and things were ok. I wondering if I did something to make th
