Yeah, ran CCleaner with that option selected, restarted and still no system tray icon for WindowBlinds. Waiting to hear back from StarDock Support. Thanks.

I've emailed Support about it, but in the meantime, I'll try the CCleaner route, as I already have that program installed. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi, Any idea why Window Blinds 5.51 with ObjectDesktop will *NOT* display it's system tray icon, despite the checkbox for this setting being turned on? SabreWolfy.

Ok, dragging the shortcut onto the KLP window creates a hotkey which works. However, when checking the properties of the shortcut file again though, it still shows NONE for the hotkey!? What's the point of the HOTKEY tab on the properties page if you can't allocate hotkeys via this page and if this page does not reflect the state of hotkeys assigned in KLP main program? SabreWolfy.

Hi, I have a shortcut pointing to a text file which is launched with an external text editor. If I double-click the shortcut, the file opens. I right-click it and select the HOTKEY tab and assign a hotkey to the shortcut. I click Apply and OK. I hit the hot-key combination. Nothing. Check properties and nothing has been saved -- there is no hotkey. Sigh. Why not? SabreWolfy.

Nope, no way this is working! Running the latest versions that StarDock Central has. Think I'll just give up and delete cos I've wasted enough time on this! Thanks anyway.

Ok, I'm trying your suggestions now -- do I need to click the menu in the right place so that the clock appears on the menu? Once I've done that will it remember and appear on the menu wherever I click? I've done that but still no luck! My word this is the silliest system in the world!!! I can't believe it! I've clicked the right menu several times until the clock is in the right place (Vista Clock) but as soon as I click somewhere else, the clock is still in the old place!

Thanks for your reply but I'm still not having any luck! I followed your instructions but I cannot position the widget where I want it -- when I try to move it, the right-click menu moves instead! I tried the second suggestion of unloading first, and then the widget does appear, but always in the same place on the screen regardless of where I right-click! Again, if I try to move the widget, the right-click menu moves instead. I tried with a battery meter widget instead. Any other suggestions? I

Hey guys, Searched around on these forums but can't find a solution to this. I've recently upgraded from WindowBlinds to ObjectDesktop and installed most of the components. ObjectBar started behaving badly and I removed everything and installed only a few applications -- Keyboard Launcher, Right Click, Desktop Gadgets and Desktop X for now. The problem I am having is inserting a Widget onto the right click menu, as shown in one of the screenshots on the StarDock site. I am tryi
