I finished a game on 11/25/2007 with my character Brezelius. It was : Neutral alignment, 5 yrs., Political Victory, score:3570, Normal difficulty, Small Galaxy. I think I followed all the game conditions required for round 4. Hi Kudelv - it is good to hear from another HCH member . Yes things have gone quiet. I am still interested in participating in the HCH. I am working on a game for the 4th round of the MVL. Like many, I don't score megascores - I still am working at normal level. It would be nice to see our empire pick up again, like youy said - there is strength in numbers. I guess I want to post my first Metaverse game to the Metaverse League (round 3) for the DOD. It is an influence victory. How do I go about this? I did not have any success with trying to do a "screenshot" several months ago. I am not clear - If I submit a game, am I allowed to submit a higher scoring game later in the month to replace it? Is it "better" to not make an official submittal untill one has a chance to play a few games and then make an "officiall" submittal? Also it wou

I have "practiced" several beginnings to the game (at round 3 settings) to get a feel for how things might proceed. Being a relatively "low scoring" player what type of victory would be best for me to pursue? I will be happy to try whatever works best for the team. Brezelius

The Thalans remind me of the "bird-like reptilian" creatures in the old sci-fi movie, perhaps it ws called "At the Earth's Core". I can't recall the lead actors name, but he played in a lot of "B" Sci-fi movies. Anyway, the creatures were the "rulers" of the core world (untill the "humans" start to revolt. By the way the book, by Edgar Rice Burroughs, was much better. Brezelius

When I go to Empire Alt Stats I do not appear in any of the catagories (games submitted, etc.) My games do show up elsewhere - just not under the HCH empire stats. Berzelius

Kyro, I noticed that my scores (data) for Brezelius (or is it Berzelius) don't show up on the HCH empire totals. They do show up on the Altmeta as a whole. It's up to us - easy for me to say, I have been inactive since May or so. Let's see if we can get the HCH going again. They are all white, as are the starbases. They seem to be almost "overbright".

Earlier this summer I tried to speed up my game (I was trying a larger game) by removing details (like ship textures, etc.) Now, I am trying to play smaller games again and the game does not want to show the ship/starbase details, even though I have tried to reset the options and set things to higher resolution display. The planets look fine, but I can't tell what race a ship or staarbase belongs to by looking at them. Any clues as to how I can get teh better display back? Iusually play on the m

The new Alt-Meta brackets are fantastic. I was able to get into the top 10 on the a'smallest" category (Solar-Civ)- for two days anyway. It gives me great incentive to submit another game to try to work my way back up!! Thanks to Kryo and the MVC!!! A great job! Brezelius
