The scion temple isn't built on a wild improvement and both the ogre camp and scion temple are directly adjacent to the central city tile. Don't think they could be any closer to a city.

Any update on this? I'm having the same problem with this. It doesn't stop with sions either. I built an ogre camp and can't train ogres either. (Darklings train fine however, and have as long as I've been playing) Sorry, I spent over an hour searching for a post on this before posting this, https://forums.stardock.com/395809, but apparently you have to use the search engine at elementalgame.com , not the elemental forum on

So I'm playing as the empire and build a sion temple in my capital as well as an ogre camp by a capture neutral town and yet can't build either sions or ogres. They don't even show up on my buildable unit list. Anyone have any idea why? Is there an additional tech I have to research other than the one to build the building or another building I have to build?

What I find funny is how almost everyone who is against this is almost fanatically against this and can only think of chainmail bikinis as "female armor" while everyone else is continually talking about full body armor that is molded to the female form and not necessarily lacking in protection. Sounds like their opposition is subliminal or subconcious. Anyway, I was thinking the same thing along this line. I recently got Disciples III and I really like the work done on the w

Look at their armor. Their weakest ships have armor that rivals a starbase. That is what makes them so powerful. The gauss guns have an armor value of 34, for example. That's all that really needs to be changed. And is it just me or did the experience values get cut in half as well?
Lore wise, the Vasari ARE militaristic and their technology IS focused on combat eg. phase missiles.
They WERE militeristic. Then they got their asses handed to them by something and now they are trying to make due with what little they have left. I guess if you consider guerillias militaristic then yes, they still are. However, most guerilla forces tend to favor hit and run attacks

Is nobody from the beta left? Alright, if you think the Vasari are so poor now in a stand up fight, in beta, they were even poorer in such a fight. I don't remember exact numbers, but the Vasari cost for cost (both in terms of resource cost and fleet upkeep cost) were the worst of all the races, by far, which the beta community cried out against. So the devs buffed it. At the time, yes, I thought the Vasari needed a buff, but they are fine now, because

Trust me, this idea has been brought up so many times since the first beta of the original sins, and a few times I think an IC rep came in and flat out said no (though I could be wrong don't quote me). The main problem is, no matter how they are implemented, someone is going to be disappointed, they will either be too slow, or too fast, op or up. In addition, despite being one of the first people to bring it up, I no longer think it's a good idea, for many of the reasons presented

For those who don't know how to read an op, he isn't complaining that it's still in beta, he (and I) am complaining that it's showing as a finished product when it's not a finished product, which is false advertising. I had this problem with the Jan 1 release date and this time around decided to wait to see if it was the real deal, which it sounds like it is not. Last time they gave me a refund, so to the op, you could always go with that.
It's been said a million times: January 1st was a placeholder date. It's been recommended that they change it to a different date, or to TBA, but for some reason that hasn't been done.
Yes, but I went off the Impulse page for the release date. So I'm still irked by it, because I shouldn't have to check the forums to know when the real release date is when there's a release date on the store page.</p

Well, Happy New Years everybody, I just purchased Entrenchment (because the release date was today) and got the beta. Great. Word of advice, if your looking for the final product, it doesn't look like it's coming out today, despite what it says.

I really enjoyed oblivion. The voice actiing, while mundane after awhile, doesn't bother me. I think Uranium would rather Bethesda recruited 300 voice actors or something rediculous like that. Anyways, I'm only going to address the first part of the op, ingame adverts. As long as they are unobtrusiv (like ingame billboards) and don't keep me from playing my game, I generally don't notice them, and depending on what time period the game is based in, I h

This is not a bug. Dead asteroids have always broken trade lanes. But there's no reason to fix this since only the TEC, the trade kings, should be able to overcome this. It gives them an economic/trade advantage over the other races which they need to compete with the other races.

But they are worth it if you have the money to spare. What I believe the monk is trying to say is, most games don't last long enough for that money to be sparable in multi, but if you play a 6 hour game against the AI, eventually you will have enough to make it worth it.

Yeah, I gave up on this along time ago, it said i needed .net 2.0 and i had 3.0 or 4.0, can't remember which, I asked on the forums a couple times and noone answered. Anyways, .NET is a microsoft product that comes with most if not all windows copies, although you can download it from their site too. Hope you have better luck.
