Of what I understand and trust me I've tried many things, there is NO way to install a Stardock Product (I am, myself, refering to Galactic Civilization 2), completely offline to a new computer. You can try to use archive and then you wont be able to get impulse running because you have to register over the net. You can try what's in that thread and download from impulse anywhere but even then, when you install the product to the new computer you will still have to revert to a
Is there any way to have what is requiered for a complete offline installation? What software, keys, serial number etc do I need to backup to be able to reinstall in the future with no access to the net?
I don't like the idea of having to install before archiving, is there any way to download the products and install later? Here is my situation : I have Galactic Civilization 2 and the first expansion pack Dark Avatar. In impulse I downloaded and Archived the Dread Lords games but it won't let me download ans archive Dark Avatar whithout installing DreadLods first. Is there anyway to download and archive whithout installing anything?</p
Outstanding Victory! Thanks for this tuto. I think the key to this scenario is the network of long rang scanner ships that take care of the Dreadlords Troopers. Thumbs up everyone!
I installed latest "official" drivers and can't tell at 100% if it has fixed the problem but so far so good. Thanks for the tip.
I have a bug in Ship Design. On top of the ship you have a list of each module, "extras", weapons and so on, installed. This list is an actual image of the added module. For me, some "extras" are represented by a black box with no image and some extras don't show correctly on the ship or are partly invisible. DA Version 1.80e.098 Campaing's mission "In Defense of Drengi", but have seen this bug before. Windows XP SP2 Core 2 Duo E6400 GeForce 7950GT
Thank you!
Ok, I am a bit late in that thread and probably won't even be read by anyone but hey, stupid question has to be asked, what's "FOW" stand for?
