[quote who="the_Monk" reply="2" id="3664248"] I'm sorry to hear that it's not playable for you at the moment. I have (at this point) around 25hrs in game-time and I have literally encountered 2 bugs. One is more of a 'feature lacking' than a 'bug' (I would like the ability to combine stacks of resources so that you don't waste a bunch of half-stacks etc.), and the other while definitely a bug (is related t

the reason we aren't getting higher quality assets in updates is because higher quality means that ~100 MB archive suddenly becomes 1 GB or 500 MB quickly (they did say all the assets they got are 16 GB). I would also echo adding in a seventh type of planet. Call it gaia or something like that-with exoplanets out there and the sheer number of systems, I could see these having maybe a 5% chance (35 planets based on 700 systems) of showing up. Also, I echo the reuse of ass
The December update will be posted on the third as that is when they open the offices again. Nobody is going to be in the office on new year's eve. Probably may be delayed as we are supposed to be getting the first alpha builds by then
latest for 2016 is tomorrow (which I HIGHLY doubt). Stardock is closed after that until the second. So, if not today, the third is when we get the December update. For this info, look at the note at the top of the thread where it says they're closed for the holidays.
[quote who="Nole2907" reply="22" id="3661611"] Hi everybody. New guy here, just found out by accident about the new Star Control, I couldn't beleive it. I've played Star Control since the first one on my Amiga ages ago. SCII is my favorite game of all time. I immediately preordered the game for $35. couldn't spare $100, I have budget restrains. Can a $35 founder get this CD key or those are just for lifetime founders? I intend to be active and
because of Christmas and New Year's being so close, I think we are probably going to get it late because Stardock does close for the holidays. 100% not on New Year's eve at least.
we don't have much recently to talk about. First shot for 500 people is January to even discuss how the game plays.
I'd like to add my voice in hoping there is support for Nvidia 3d vision. I know games like Anno 2205 can use it but the recommendation is not recommended. Also, re: adding in support for these items, you got to look at if it would be FEASABLE for the player. It's all well and good to request VR support but to be honest, how do you think VR support would be implemented if at all? The game design would probably have to be radically changes for VR/hololens while
I think I'd have to have a chance to try out both before I can decide. Remember with dynamic response in MP, the other player(s) can easily counter the ship you brought in to counter just as easily. It needs to be seen in action before any decision can be made I think
What Steam does now is have a display for reviews with options for ones bought on steam and product activation as well as the option to see both. The question is how they would handle it for ones bought before early access started (ie bought today or anytime before EA as well as keys for the people who couldn't get a Steam key from the get go). That is a major question. It seems that keys bought and activated before the review revamp last month were grandfather
going by gal civ III and Offworld Trading Company DLC prices, I think we can expect the following prices for DLC: $4.99 for non-expansion DLC, $9.99 OST, $19.99 expansions. If memory serves, there were 5 DLC for gal civ III in the 1st year followed by Mercenaries (expansion) and the roadmap I think said 4 DLC for 2016, of which 1 is to be released. Then there's the "launch parts"/"registration" DLC for gal civ III that were free and I don't think counted in the amount. &nb
a BIG thank you to Draginol for allowing more lifetime people. When I read a post in the Stardock forums several months ago, it sounded like all the elite founder key (founder's lifetime edition in this case) chances were already sold out. Just put $99.99 on my debit card. Looking forward to seeing how the game plays. It took me about 5 minutes to whip out my debit card and do the purchase.
