Problems with a used game in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Hi there. I've bought the game from a guy who didn't liked the game. No I cannt get updates cause he has activated the game. If I type in the serial the system means that the serial not confirm with my email-adress. I've bought the game with manual, cd, cover tech-tree-map ect. what the hell... hi, i'm from germany and i've bought the game - but used. i have the cd, the serials in the back of the manual (also a seriual for the collectors edition) and i know want to update the game but i can't activate. it seems that the owner before me has activated. he didn't liked the game and has sold it to me - but now i'm very angry. what's that for a shit if i cannot get updates? know i must deinstall the game and then i must reinstall.
