I must be dense since I cannot see any button labeled "Edit Empire" Can you tell me where on the page it is located? And by Homepage you mean the page you get when you click on the empire name, the one that lists the Characters in the empire and the total Empire stats?

I am a Senator for the Paradox Empire, yet when I go to View My Empire or Edit Empire from my account screen I get prompted to create a new empire. How do I access the functions of the Empire I am in? Things like accepting a a character

That is called gangbanging, and has been a valid Human stategy for a long time. I use it myself a lot of the time. If I see two or more Empires have crushed a third one, then it is only to my advantage to jump in and pick up a few choice planets to add to my empire at little or no cost, and also to deny those planets to the other empires. Even if I had been supplying that emprire with ships previously in order to extend the war and keep those empires occupied while I consol

High PQ planets >10 get a 10% bonus to Morale that is not effected by Population the same way buildings are. When you say your income I assume you mean revenue - Expenses. Your income will change due to primarily your expenses changeing. That will happen most dramtically when you are building or not building. It can even change whne it is your turn. Eg. At the start of the turn you get messages to say many things building and ships were made.

I tried your Revenue formula, from the first post, and could not get it to work for me. Eg. Racial bonus including Mining and Tech bonuses reports 120& on the racial stats screen. In The second level of government which according to you yields 20% I have one econ building on the planet(stock exchange) which give 30% bonus. My tax rate is 80%. Population of 7.84 So with your formula I should have: 34.5*2.8*.80*1.3*2.2*1.2 = 265.225<

Design a new ship of the same size with the parts you want, then select the ship you want to upgrade and select the new ship type, then pay the cost, you can also select to upgrade all ships of that type. It takes 1 or more weeks to upgrade depending on where they are in relation to your planets, and only has 1 hit point while upgrading.

Does that mean building the temples to get a share of the other empires trade that have the same alingnment as you is useless? Since none of them have a declared alignment? OR are they all considered neutral so the only temple worth building would be the neutral one?

You get no production the first turn after a reload, this is suppoed to prevent you from saving and loading for a better result. The thing is the AI gets no production either, so it is olny a penalty if you are outproducing all the other AI combined, in which case you have no need of a reload, the point is moot. And it is probably caused by a limitation of the save game data.

At the very least have the stats show up without having to double click each starbase each turn to see which ones need Nonmilitary improvments, at least the military stats show when clicking the mouse once just like a ship but it does not show the critical stats like the mining bonus, unless you double click and open the detail screen. That is a pain in the ass, especially on a slower machine.

Influence Star base has two effects. 1) Increases Influence within it's range. 2) Increases your overall Civ Influence rating, this is what in part determines the base Influence rating with in each square, ie how far away it is from an influence source, the strength of that source and factored for the overall strength of that Civs influence .

It is an oversite that was only made starting in the latest beta. MOst of the PLanetary improvments were changed regarding cost, and both the building on either side of the Banking Center had their costs reduced sigificantly, the Banking Ceter's costs remained the same, whch means it is now significantly more than the later building. So It is not a huge deal for the player once they realize the problem, they can just avoid upgrading to Banking Center, although it can be a pain to go a

You have to be joking! Read that first post again, and actually look at the stats. This is the ONLY one out of place all other buildings follow a predicatable patern. Take a look at this chart: http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=7457 Then come back and tell me I am calling a design desision a bug. I have done my research please back up your oppion with some facts.

Mostly useless. I generally only add them if I have space left over and nothing else fits, but even then I would go with greater range over more sensors. I have in the past updated my original traders with ones loaded with sensors, that way my merchants act as spies for me. Also I try and get the eyes of the Universe, which gives you 1

When you tweeked the Planet improvments, you missed the Banking Center. Trade Center = cost 90 and +20% Economy. Banking Center = cost 250 and +24% Economy. Stock Market = cost 150 and +30% Economy +others. You reduced the cost of both the lower model and higher Model but did not change the Banking Center, I don't think you intended that it should cost more than the higher level building.
