While you're waiting for professional help... Did you happen to notice whether you could access the Tutorial Movies from the main menu in GalCiv2 Dread Lords? I couldn't and I also had the crash when I tried to create a new game. Could it have been this problem all that time? If so, will the installer ever be fixed

Today I did a complete download & install of GalCiv II, DA & TA and not only are the tutorial movies missing but the Tutorials button on the Main Menu is greyed out. And as soon as I tried to start a game it crashed, but that's for another thread!
