Actually please remove this post. When I used the program 'stardock central' it shows me as owning the game and allows me to update it. Wow pretty horrible updating system if you ask me as the ingame button is what put me on that screen in IE that gave me the error.
Hi guys, In trying to download the update for Sins and I get a message saying I am not registered as purchasing it so please enter serial number. I input the serial number in the blank and when I submit it nothing happens... It just gives me the same screen. It doesn't say invalid number or anything. Any advice? Please help, thanks!
Specifically I am asking about the TEC Capital ships that increases the fleets accuracy. If I had two of these Cap Ships would the accuracy % stack? Thanks!
Sorry, the distance does not really seem to matter. As long as your in space that you control. Just keep pushing your boundries. When you colonize a planet in enemy held space you might want to consider speed building a influence base simply to prevent a revolution on your planet. Hrmm well distance does seem to matter... I just did a test but I'm still way unclear on how influence works in terms of the numbers... I got my espionage up
guys i appreciate all the replys but I'm still unclear on how influence is affected by distance from the planets producing the influence since starbases actually don't generate influence, they only increase influence from planets I would imagine distance might or might not have any affect?
I am hoping someone can shed some light on this subject for me... I've won militarily in all my games and defense just doesn't seem worth it to me... Am I smoking crack or are the defense techs just as expensive technology wise as their comperable weapon cousins? And on top of that the defense components seem to be more expensive to put on the ships! Factor in they are almost completely worthless if it's not the right kind of defense vs the chosen weapon tech
Hi guys, I've been winning almost exclusively with military strategies and wanted to try my other options for a change of pace. I have read the manual and surfed this website but cant find anything that really details how influence works... I understand the basics but what I don't understand is how distance affects it. Could someone please enlighten me? If distance does matter, is it really practical to worry about buildilng starbases with +influence
Hi guys, I remember for Gal Civ I there was a technology list you could download and open in pdf. Is there something like this for Galactic Civ II? One thing about this game that has always frustrated me is not knowing what the techs are worth when trading. thanks!
In the game manual it says that planet quality only affects the # usuable tiles on a planet and not it's population growth or max population. It says your max population is determined solely by having enough food to feed everyone with a static growth of .2 Million a week. When I read this and went through the tutorial I was excited because it offered a lot more flexibility with how i wanted my planets to turn out and not the high PQ being
