FYI, no software under windows 32 bits can use more than 2GB. Every software running added together can use more, but ONE software can't get higher than 2GB alone (either swap or physical or a mix of both) (that's not exactly true, but let's keep it simple) PS: oh, and there is no point in using your swap file if you still have physical memory available.

I'm mostly playing medium galaxy game, with 5 AI on the latest difficulty level. I set reseach to "very slow". It actually happens a lot. Seems to be when the ship's level goes up, it's hitpoints are set to max. Not always doing it, but I've seen it numerous times, enough to say it happened at least one time in every of my game (latest patch blabla, I've also seen this on dark avatar). It affects the player's ships as well.

I support the idea of getting moving starbases back into the game. After all, we're playing a galaxy-wide civilisation with hundreds of billions citizens, if we have the will, the technology and the money to do it, I don't see how we couln't be able to build drives for our starbases. It's just like a very, very big ship. Although for some obvious reason I think this should be limited to military starbases only, the influence starbases attack would just be too lame.
