Yes, GOG has the rights to sell all of the games that they offer. It's a legitimate business run by CDProjekt, the makers of The Witcher. And it's confirmed today that this was a publicity stunt. They are relaunching, out of beta, Thursday. With new releases such as Baldur's Gate.

I haven't played the game in a while as I've been a little busy, but now that I'm back I find that with these latest updates it takes an astronomical time to save the game. I just don't want to play the game anymore because I have to take a ten minute break everytime I want to make a save. I think I'll roll back to my archive from a month ago.</font
