I don't get any new core ship designs! in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

After i get Defender/Star Fury i don't any other core ship designs I'm pretty well advanced in the technology tree, i know i should have received more. I check the technology tree for what other techs i need for this and that core design, and i get them, but i don't get the new core design. Now i don't mind designing everything myself, as i've been forced to do so far, but i want the core designs too. Please help and
