Thanks CariElf! I got it workin...YEAH! The Omega drivers did the trick, now my computer runs much smoother and so do my games! Thanks again for all y'all's help!

When i use smart exception, it does not give me an Exception error, it gives me one of those microsoft Dont send / Send Error Report ones. Smart Exception wont allow me to select the application, so i guess that doesn't work. Ill try the Omega drivers one, but for some reason ATi doesnt even have drivers for this specific card
I crash when i load up the map that im going to play on in Gal Civ 2. I load the game fine, just not the map to play it on. Heres a debug.err file. My game crahses after I click new game and choose my race. When it starts to load, everything is well, the music is playing fine, and then all of a sudden I get this error message (Send Error Report / Dont Send) one with these errors: AppName: galciv2.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.1 ModName: d3d9.dll ModVer: 5.3.2600.2180 Offset: 00043f3d I have a Dell Inspiron 5100 Laptop running WinXP professional service pack 2 at 1024x768 and 32 bit. 2.8Ghz pentium 4 processor A
Okay i updated the game and i got past that, but when i choose my race and class and then i proceed to load the game, it starts loading and then i get a d3d9.dll error. any ideas?
