Best bet it to go into Windowblinds and make sure that Norton is excluded and not being skinned by Windowblinds. Next go into Norton and tell it to allow "WBload.exe" to access the internet or go into the internet settings of Windowblinds and tell it to stop trying to access the internet. Hope this helps. Grog

Um can't answer exactly... but what I do know is that NVidia based cards have some issues with the drivers. I just installed 41.03 today and it has made a world of difference in using transitions (Fall back mode). From what I have heard on the news groups the ATI cards run the best. In your C:\windows directory you should find a file called WB.ini open it as text and add the following line under [Global] SkinToolWindows=1 Re-Boot your computer and the updates window and all other tool windows should be skinned. You have the same download privileges as a Wincustomize Subscriber with no limit on what you can download. The Skin-browser is a benefit of supporting Wincustomize itself. Ok, that is the ground plane, you can select it and delete it or probibly better change it from the default gray material to one that works better for your picture. That is my suggestion and it is what most people will do. Just select the plane, click on the little "M" and change the material.

I'm not sure I understand the first question your going to have to rephrase it. The second questions is well yes, get a faster computer, cut down on the number of reflective textures, turn off volumetric atmosphere, the more objects, the longer the render, render to disk, it runs a little faster. The reason that the render times tend to be long is the fact that the rendering engine is true raytrace, and Bryce will run up Billions (I'm not kidding) of calulations to generate an image. Are you running an AntiVirus program, and if so is it set to scan every file. Windowblinds will run to a crawl if every file is getting scanned everytime. I've been running WB for ever, and as a matter of fact I just rebuilt my sons system (PII266, 256, 16Mb Video) and WB is smoking on it. If so set your antivir to "Smart" or "Selective" or what it is called on your system. Other than that try your videodrivers but even with what your saying I don't think that is it. Chris

Ok, question 1, what OS are you running, and 2 what does your system look like (and I don't mean a gray box about this tall ) PII, PIII, PIV, 64mb, 128mb, 512mb RAM?
