I think that the experience is just gained too fast. If you have a fleet of five ships and then attack a freighter you should not gain +2 HP/Ship. Or atleast slow down the XP gain after the first levels. Getting rookies better should not be difficult, but elites should have to see some battle before they become ridiculously strong.

Hi I have now encountered the second time a crash to desktop when a shipbattle happens. Both times were while the AI turn, once when the AIs battled each other and the other time when the AI attacked me. I tend to play zoomed out in the Strategical view and when a battle occurs to zoom in with the mouse wheel, maybe when i zoom in in the right time the game does not like it
i think there should be an option to upgrade ships in the shipyard so that you can refit your ships without to pay much. The cost would be the cost of all new parts on the ship (or something in that region). The money way for upgrades is simply too expensive for whole fleets.
I noticed too that the AI civs had all almost the same techs, and i dont think this is ver realistic. This leads to the problem that every AI builds the same ships and this is clearly stupid. As i looked in the logs i saw that the AIs trade a lot techs to really good conditions. And even when the AI offer tech trade to me and i reject the deal, when i now propose the exactly same deal, the AI rejects it and i think this is somewhat stra
i have some more ideas - give fleets a behavoir that the player can set. options like: attack strongest, attack weakest, attack ships with sensors first and things like that should be there to choose. - if you load a game dont open the researchscreen and your homeplanet, i dont think it is necessary greetings
the biggest program running in the background was the ati driver. there was no other "real" program open
After about 3 hours of playing the gamescreen begins to flicker and then the game freezes. I minimized the game afterwards and spotted a warning from windows about not enough virtual memory in the systray so it might be that i got a memory leak somewhere. After i minimized i could watch galaciv in the process manager that it released about 2 mb of ram per second until it suddenly disappeared. (before the crash i started an invasion) here are
Hi I did not read every post so some things that i want are already wished for. My 2cents are: - Put the values of the things you get in the Tech tree (not just laser but laser cost, size, damage) - If you build on a square with bonus show the bonus in the building on that square. - Some chance to disband fleets when another unit is in the same spot.(maybe i just dont find the button then <img src="http://images.stardock
