The tooltips telling you the names of ships in orbit are still missing (they disappeared in the last official patch before the beta, I believe.)

I wonder (and I'm just guestimating here, I've read nothing for or against this line of thinking) if it's got anything to do with how their citizens view your empire? You know that option in the diplomacy screen to get a readout of such things instead of showing the race portrait? I've noticed something like this, too, though it doesn't seem tied to the "goto" button. The ship class doesn't pop up like it did before the patch when I put the cursor over the icons of individual ships in orbit.

Is your autosave set to save every turn? I noticed that happening every once in a while myself until I saw the little "saving" notice at the very bottom of the screen. It dims when it's saving. Edit: Looks like BlueDev and I had the same idea at the same time. Whoops.
