Ship names and classes for all you Trekkie players in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

These are all Federation-inception to Original Series. No 24th Century to speak of. But it's a long list, lots of names and classes that you can use in-game to give your ships an RPG element and personality. The second column got mushed next to the first on some random entries on insert but everything's on the right line. College student here, too, living out my Trek fantasies Very Slow Research style I got a full night's sleep, though, because I need a fresh brain to think strategically and to name all my ships.

It's an amalgamation of many major sci-fi lores. Star Trek is also prevalent in the game, as is evidenced by the phasors, photon torpedoes, and even the initial survey ship description "to boldly go where no one has gone before..." I've also seen some Babylon 5 references, but I forget what they are. I'm sure there are tributes to a lot of our old faves in the game, Stargate included.

Graphics - For a 4X game, we should not even be talking about this. These games were never about the graphics. They were always about the brains. Simple Interface Recommendation in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I would like to be able to double-click on the ship name in the ship list and have the screen automatically center on that ship. It's a feature I was used to in other games and could help streamline things. I've read the manual, and if there's a way to do this (not just for Strongest Ship or Ship With Turns Remaining) that I'm not seeing, feel free to correct me As an aside, I haven't looked forward to a game thi
