I can't change the # of opponents when i'm setting up a standard game. i can change the # in metaverse games for some reason. i don't believe i've ever been able to change the # of opponents and i have reinstalled and tried all betas and now have 1.1. what type of debug information can i give? the game isn't crashing so i doubt the standard bug file is going to help. has anyone else had this problem? thanks

you have to set the custom monitor resolution in the prefs.ini file in My Dcoumens\My Games\Galciv2

I've encountered a bug in the ship builder. When i had objects and then remove them the icon for the object stays in the horizontal bar under the picture of the ship. I then have to figure out which Icons have been removed and which haven't (usually the ones that haven't have a border around them while the dead icons just stay to the right). i've saved ship designs and reopened GalCiv2 to my saved game and found there will still be a slacker icon w/
look @ running processes (ctrl-alt-del), galciv2 shows up @ ~800megs which means its leaking memory
Feud: i found that if you togel the Map Grid view ON you can see exactly how far each ship can go if you know the # of moves a ship has left. not as cool as a circle showing range, but will still help w/ the movements...
can the arrow keys control the map view instead of the movement of the ships? i'm also having problems with the fact that once you've selected a movement for a ship, your autoselecting the next ship instead of just leaving the map viewed to the point that i just clicked. not that big of an issue, but every couple turns i seem to move a ship and then proceed to move the next ship to where i moved the previous ship due to the fact that i thin
why in the world would you order from j&r, they take forever to get things in and they're usually sold out the second they get big ticket items. i would bet you won't see a copy from them for another week, ya missed your chance to predownload!
Citizen Feud it's called the Print Screen Button on the keyboard. hit that up and post the screen shot, else NO WAY it's a 72!
j&r said they had it and already sold out. but i didn't see stock space for it to have been so i doubt they've gotten it yet... who needs retailers when you could just preload it and get the CD a week later (or more, who cares)!
I would say the only annoyance I've come across in the ship editor is the inability to mirror accessories on a ship. I tried to make an enterprise type ship w/ upward curling pieces on the back and I would get one side on and then go to get the other side attached and it would curve down instead of up. I can rotate the mount point in different directions but then all I get is the curved piece either into the ship or backwards... I have not dl'ed the
Where is the link to the Tech Tree Map Images I saw on GalCiv2.com yesterday? It was in the forum, but now I can't find it....
i love the fact that i can print these out on Tabloid paper (11*17) on the 6figure xerox publishing printers @ work! who needs to wait for the box with the printouts to arrive!? oh and was up till 3am last night even w/ work today as well
Quick Question I've colonised another planet and when i go to build any building it tells me Time to Build: Never even though i have 9000 people on the planet. What is the usual cause for not being able to build any buildings and what is the resolution? Thanks
