Had this exact same idea a while back, the only reason not to do it that I can see is with getting the ai to use it properly, however I beleive it would be well worth it. Such a change would be a major step towards tactical battles since your latest bigest badest battleship could be taken down by a few bomber wings if it wasnt protected properly. What is more it would give us ship design nuts a valid reason to spend even more time in the designportion of the game. I doubt such
