I found it rather slow paced and uneventful. Really didn't care for it.

Why are all planets in science fiction SINGLE TERRAIN? the ICE planet, the DESERT planet, the FORREST planet, the WATER planet -_- Planets terrain should be based on their position. I mean it's fine to have single terrain planets once in a while but they shouldn't dominate the galaxy. Or be in absurd places (I.E. A Ice planet near the sun, or a water planet in a remote reach) I definite

Now a simple way to solve large resource build up would be some form of upkeep, or(and I like this one more) corruption. Think about it, as your empire grows and becomes more wealthy the honest politicians and beurocrats and generals will beging to be tempted to take resources for their own. And in that form, as your empire grows the precentage or 'wasted' or 'stolen' resources increases and you earn less and less. A few other factors could also be factored in suc

auto saves from games either overwrite or just get lost in a blur with one another sorry, I should have added a "I'm not sure which" to that. I wasn't sure which the game does. I'm not too concerned about compression either, just the ability to find the game I was in and wanted to test something in. Just a nice touch.

First off, I would like to say that I am definitely having fun, but as I am nearing the end of a medium galaxy game I have a bit of feedback to offer... 1) I saw a mention of a more robust trading system between players in the interview at IGN. I would love a way to be able to tell my computer ally, "hey, I need crystal" or to even be able to arrange a trade of my money for their crystal at prices both of us benefit from. 2) Star icons should match the background of the star

What if the missile platform by default has a so-so missile, but have the option to pay extra for a super missile able to deal a lot of damage. For each super missile you would pay and have to wait for it to be built. I think the game also needs a 1 logistics point structure. It is annoying for planets to have an odd number cap for logistics when there is nothing that costs 1.

-Culture lasts too long. Once I've destroyed every structure and ship my opponent has I should not have to coordinate simultaneous invasions of half their former empire. Although I like this in concept as a kind of 'countercurrent' to an invading fleet, write now it's simply too extreme. -Allegiance penalties in a large empire. There needs to be more ways to mitigate this. 100 percent culture is listed as giving 10 percent allegiance. This is great for the planet 3

Hmm... looking back I am questioning myself. I found an auto save within the series that didn't have it, and was unable to reproduce the bug. But then I noticed that on my monitor the green "1" really blends in with the icon for "Enhanced damage control" SO combined with being tired, I probably imagined it, but will play with it more later.

I don't know if this is a documented issue, but tonight I noticed that I was able to research "Capital Ship Construction" without the prerequisite of a point in "Enhanced damage control" . I did have a point or two in "Improved Superstructure". But yes, the game let me research capital ships without the horizontal pre-req being fulfilled. Any one else noticed this?

Covering suggestion 2,4, and 5... I would love the idea of a Gas Giant having multiple colonizable moons. Perhaps compared to other planets it would have a high tactical and logistics cap for the gravity well, but require upgrading multiple locations to reach that higher cap.

Tried it throughout the rest of the game tonight. I was definitely able to reproduce it. I even had a constructor stop building something 34% of the way in. I had cleared them entirely of enemy structures. Also occurred for both logistics and tactical structures. And yes I had the repair station researched. Give it a try yourselves, obviously would be strange to just be in my game, but confirmation by another would be good too. I just tried this inside of a brand new game (with hi

Right, but this was a planet that had no structures on it yet at all whatsoever. I queued up a repair station and 3 cannons and then was told I needed to raise the cap at the planet before placing more. So I clicked over, began working on the increased cap, and then began placing more structures. The ship should have been able to begin construction on at least the first 4 structures, but instead it couldn't start at all because it thought I was trying to build above my current cap.

I noticed a bug when I had queued up a significant amount of tactical structures. Since I had begun working on increasing the tactical cap on the planet, the game let me place additional tactical structures. The system currently had no structures at all. The construction frigate appeared to be working on building the first one, but I noticed no progress being made, presumably it was waiting for the tactical cap increase to be completed. I didn't get a chance to test this with logisti

I love gaming on my laptop. Ever since I got my desktop replacement system, I've barely touched my tower even though it is about the same speed. I just use the tower for long term downloads now.

So perhaps a seemingly random question, but is the game alt-tab friendly? I have a bit of a chat addiction and like to keep chatting with people even as I play games. Anyways I remember with the basic version of civ 4, sometimes I would alt tab back in and the UI wouldn't load, prompting me to have to close the game with task manager and start it back up, something that can take a few minutes and just wasn't fun. I know to a cer
