In the ship designer, when upgrading, the capacity component tab does not show for construction or freighter type ships making it impossible to upgrade them. It works for colony types though - weird. Reply to Unable to achieve influence victory in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I just finished a game and I know exactly what you're talking about. On the victory screen, it will show a percentage up in the white border around the 'Influence' section, but the message telling you what you need to achieve Influence victory says that the current percentage is lower. At one point, it showed 75% up top, but said I only had 70%... then later 85% and 74% or something close to that. It's not a linear diference. Anyway, I j
