Thank you, that does indeed take up less space. However, the Aero Peek and jumplist functionality doesn't carry over to the QuickLaunch toolbar and I use them both quite a bit. I guess I just have to live with the wasted space until either Microsoft opens it up or StarDock figures out how to adjust it via WindowBlinds.

So.. I guess that means I can't do what I want to do yet? I wish I could try it out, see what works and what doesn't, but my subscription expired a few months ago and I don't want to re-subscribe unless this specific tweak is possible.
I don't want the icons to be longer, I want them to be less wide but the same height (I don't like the look of the small icons). Here's an example of what part of my toolbar looks like right now: I want it to look like this instead: Yes, I know the spacing isn'
Thank you for your reply! Isn't SkinStudio simply an editor for WindowBlinds though? I guess my question is really "Can a WB7 skin/theme change the width of the pinned app icons?" :)
Hello, I'm liking the new WindowBlinds shareware version so far. Before I renew my sub though, I need to know if the icon width of pinned applications in the Windows 7 taskbar can be changed. I saw the Normal 0 <w:ValidateAgainstSch
. Actually 'anything better' is where the issue falls down. Can Vista be regarded as 'better'?...can 64bit [when either/both can be problematic with MANY programs, not just one? Food for thought....
Yes, Vista is very much better than the previous versions of Windows. Yes, Microsoft changed some things that developers have to deal with, but the problem lies with the third party developers, not with the
I'm seeing a similar weirdness. It's probably AccuWeather's fault though, not the docklet (see my other post). For me (note that it is Wednesday right now) the forecast shows Tonight, Tomorrow, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. What happened to Friday?
Hi, AccuWeather isn't very accurate for the two locations I need it for. Weather Underground is *much* closer to the actual current temperature values. How do I know this? I have personal weather stations set up at these locations. I'd like to integrate my weather stations with the funky animation in the weather docklet, but I figure asking for a Weather Underground option would be easier.
Howdy, I've used ObjectDock Plus and RightClick to replace the entire Windows interface; taskbar, systray, everything. The only issue I've had with ObjectDock's systray so far is that the tooltip of certain applications don't update the same way they do on the standard systray. I've written an application that demonstrates this, it's a simple wallpaper cycler that shows the time to the next cycle when you hover over the systray
Yes, sorry about that, I do have the latest version. The issues brought up in this thread (#3 and #4 at least) are still present in the latest release.
Well, #3 and #4 are the biggest issues for me, since I don't use WindowBlinds anymore. Despite what Jeff said, I do think that #4 is being caused but the ObjectBar code; it seems to forget the position of the icons when applications add/subtract them in the tray. For me, it's the AVG AV icon that disappears as soon as another app adds an icon to the tray (usually Thunderbird's new mail notification). The mixed up tooltips don't happen as often, so it's harder to come up with a repeatable scen
Where can this Upgrade list be found? I can't see a link to it anywhere on the StarDock site.
Save configuration is a big one, especially since I just lost my configuration AGAIN because of the archaic way this application works. In my opinion, RightClick should save the configuration automatically any time it's changed, there's absolutely no reason not to, but if that can't be done for some reason, then a Save Configuration option is the next best thing. Another nice to have would be a way to backup and restore the current settings from within the menu editor. Vista o
On the Control Panel Menu, right-click on "Personalization" and select "Create Shortcut". Go to your desktop and copy the new shortcut somewhere (I used the right-click program directory). Add the shortcut to your right click menu. Worked for me !! That worked, thanks!
Has anyone been able to figure out a short-cut to Vista's new Personalization menu? The "open display control panel" shortcut built into Right-Click is not compatible with Vista, obviously.
Sweet, thanks guys!
Does anyone know if RightClick works on Vista (the system requirements just say 2000/XP)? If not, does anyone know of a similar product that works on Vista?
Does anyone have a link or a brief(ish) explanation of how RightClick replaces the standard desktop context menu? Maybe a registry entry that redirects to the RightClick exe (if so, I can't find it)? Does it intercept the mouse clicks? Any hints will be appreciated! Rich
This is sad. Right-click is the only reason I bought Object Desktop a year ago, my subscription ends today. Right-click hasn't been updated in over 6 months, despite the fact that people (including me) still occasionally loose their Right-click settings, etc. There's no way I'm renewing my subscription because of this.
32 days since last post. Are the StarDock developers simply ignoring these apps until their games are done? How can that possibly be considered good business practice?
Sorry, I forgot to mention that the taskbar *is* unlocked. I'm running Windows XP Pro with SP2, nVidia 6800 Ultra, 1gb RAM. I bought the full Object Desktop on the 3rd (mainly for Right-Click, but Windows Blinds is nice too) so I'm pretty sure I have the latest version of Virtual Desktops. Does the Virtual Desktops window skin along with the rest of the theme when it's torn off the taskbar?
OK, last post about Virtual Desktops was more than two months ago, so I'm probably SOL here, but I have to at least try. I'm trying to move them off the taskbar (which I keep minimized). I left-click, the curson turn into the move cursor. I drag onto the desktop, the cursor has the littl outline box. I let go of the left-button and, wait for it, nothing happens!! WTF? I've tried turning on active desktops, nada. I tried installing De
