I'm using copper_deck_2_WB5. I like it! The credits say it was created by pixtudio. That's Treetog and Alexandre...is that correct? Anyway, There's a small problem with it. I'm using WMP to rip and load my music into an Iriver mp3 player. Copper deck has an additional button built into the skin to roll up the window--one of the neat features of this skin. But the full window of WMP superimposes a blue up or down arrow over the top of Coppe

I just DL'd Windowblinds yesterday, everything seems to be working to specs...except!... PhotoPaint-part of the CorelDraw suite v.9-skinned up nicely but when I went to save a file for the second time (to another directory) the "file" menu became completely transparent (using copper_deck_2_wb5). I could see a thin outline but none of the menu items. So I went to the WB control panel and the setting for "per application." Tol
Just DL'd WB yesterday...after reading posts in this forum in which folks describe forgetting that the WB trial expires in 60 days. How can that be? yraq, If the "newest" drivers are 81.98 (which is what I have), how can there be higher driver versions? Are they betas? And do they really fix the problem? I read the Corel groups religiously and I'm not sure that going from version 9 to 10 or 11 or even CorelDraw 12 would be a step up. I will probably give WB a trial starting this weekend but it is reassuring to know that the problem lies with videocard drivers and is being addressed.
The mention of conflicts...by several folks...is in the thread entitled WB and Hardware overlays. It sure makes me nervous...new system, new (to me) OS and a strong desire not to create hidden or latent conflicts that I'll have trouble resolving later on. I always do a restore point before installing hardware or software (that's the best thing about XP) but I know that doesn't work 100% of the time to rid your system of problems. <br/
I read with some alarm that folks were having trouble with CorelDraw after they had installed WB. I have version 9 and I use it almost daily...I depend upon it. Suppose I don't want to run any themes per se. Suppose I just want to change the colour, fonts, size...maybe do blending...of all the elements of the XP desktop in the same way I can change the colour, fonts, do blending, with the Windows classic desktop. I know what Windowblinds main thing is...skinning Windows. But can Windowblinds change the colour of titlebars, scroll bars, adjust fonts, etc. on custom skins? And can Windowblinds skin other(perhaps legacy) apps? If not, do you have to purchase the whole Object Desktop to get either of these functions?
