Yes, Thanks again. I didn't quite understand all the parts of it at first but I think I'm gonna have to fool with it a bit. Changed CopperDeck to green then blue then back again...it's kind of surprising that it works, actually. I thought a lot of this was bitmaps and other dedicated graphics. If you change colours, is there any chance you'll affect performance of the skin or mess it up in some way?

Bichur, Well, that's kind of misleading...no, not your response which I thank you for, but Stardock/WindowBlinds stating that one of the advanced features--and presumably one of the reasons to purchase WB--is the ability (and again, I quote) "Change color/hue/brightness on the fly." If you need Skin Studio to "Change color..." it's not really a feature of WB, is it? Maybe there is no intention to mislead (I like WB and don't want

I bought the full version of WindowBlinds...and since there doesn't seem to be manual for it, I was wondering if someone here could tell me how to "Change color/hue/brightness on the fly." This is supposed to be a "feature" of WB full that is not present in WB trial. ["Searching Google" for help on some of these issues...as some wag suggested...is ultimately no more helpful than trial and error.] :( DW In the High Des

Cavan, Well, thank you that explains the midi buttons issue. I shouldn't have said "bugs" I guess. Neil Banfield said that there was a bug in CopperDeck with regard to the title bar issue and the trial version of WB...I just picked up on that. I don't know one way or the other if they are bugs but sometimes an author of a skin will "talk" to you about his skins and I was kind of hoping treetog was open to that knd of thing. <br/

Xmol, what the heck is per-pixel borders and what does it do? In the System information screen it says "enable if you have corrupted titlebar buttons and ..." What does that mean? What is Hyperpaint? Cavan, Thanks...hope you won't mind if I ask another one... As you can tell, I'm pretty new to this and I'm kind of fixated on CopperDeck. I've looked at almost every WB skin from today back to 2001 and have seen some I like almost as much but , well, I really like the looks of CopperDeck. But now I've noticed another problem that wasn't there with the trial version of WB--if I open an application such as CorelDraw or WordPerfect, for instance, a document or pho

Cavan, Thank you for that information. I don't have SkinStudio, but I wouldn't want to misalign the text on the titlebars of those apps/windows that are working just to "fix" the text on seldom accessed windows that aren't. If this is a bug, however, I would think the author would want to fix it. CopperDeck is a nice looking skin. BTW, the tip about rightclicking on the titlebar was spot on...thanks. DW In the High

The description of theme manager says that you can create your own themes...I have had TM loaded (don't right at the moment) and I'm not sure how that's done. Let's say I want to combine a certain WB skin with a particular wallpaper and a randonm set of icons and cursors. Is it possible to do that provided I have IconPackager and CursorXp qand WindowBlinds and ThemeManager? DW In the High Desert of Central Oregon AMD x2

OK...I'm now official. YeeHaw! Using WB5...the paid version...and Iconpackager enhanced and CursorXP free. Cookin'with grease, now! However, now that I have the paid version of WB, my favorite theme...CopperDeck 2 WB5 no longer has the rollup window button...??!! And although I now have text on title bars...which I didn't have in this theme with the trial version...in some windows--such as the Display Properties window, the text is offset to

So...soon as I put in a couple of replacement optical drives (this weekend) I plan on buying the premium version of WindowBlinds. What's the drill? I read somewhere that you should uninstall the trial version before installing the paid version...anything to watch out for there? Will my desktop revert to classic or XP...or will it be messed up when I uninstall WB trial? Will the trial uninstall delete my skins? <b

Neil, Thank you fo rthe response. I fell a little better now about WB and about Copperdeck even if it does have a bug. So, presumably, if I buy WB, copperdeck will work correctly? Let me ask you two quick questions while I have your attention, please... The "free" versions of Cursor XP and ThemeManager don't seem to have a time limits. I know Cursor XP has "enhanced" features, but it does what I want it to do. Thememana

Zubaz, Great idea! So...I DL'd treetog's Artwork (CopperDeck is one of his too) and installed it. Works fine. Looks good! Makes me wish CopperDeck worked like that! DW In the High Desert of Central Oregon AMD x2 4400 2gig OCZ Platinum ram nvida GeForce 7800 gtx v.81.98 Windows XP pro sp2

Jafo, Thanks for the input. I don't think that's the problem, though. I DL'd a copy of Pixtudio and installed it in WB and it works fine...as does Gizmo and MX5. Copper_Deck_2_WB5 shows in the WindowBlinds preview screen as having text on the title bar...but not in action. I like CopperDeck, it could be one of my all time favourites...sad that it's not working correctly...at least for me. <img src="http://images.star

Had a problem today...I hope someone can tell me what's up! New computer, clean, no extranneous programs running in the background, like AV. Sorry don't know what went wrong there.... Two questions: If I buy WindowBlinds can I get technical support? And...when I set up Windowblinds, how should I set up my desktop before installing WB? I'm curious...it seems to me, if memory serves, that before I installed WindowBlinds, when I opened an application--such as WordPerfect or CorelDraw or Mozilla--that the title bar displayed the name of the application and in some cases the name of the file being opened. All the skins I've tried fail to display the name of the app or the name of the file. Naturally I know what application I'm opening but sometimes such as with Pho

I downloaded the free version of CursorXP to try and I found that it doesn't work quite right with Halflife 2. When I go to load a previously saved game...or try to select any option from the game menu...the cursor flashes and blinks and becomes so erratic in where it is pointing to that I can't stand it. But it seems that I cannot go back to the old standard cursors either. The mouse icon in control panel, contains a tab for CursorXP and on
