Give Aerial a try, superb black skin, very easy on the eye for everyday use, I've been using it for many months.

WB5 causes WinAVI products to AV? in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

http://www.winavi.com I installed the trial version of WinAVI 3GP/MP4/PSP/iPod Video Converter - when launching this program I get access violations. If I add it to be excluded from WB5 skinning then the trial dialog and application works fine. This also seems to affect their WinAVI Video Converter product as well. MAXimize your PowerDVD window, stop, then start playing again and it works fine. It's apparently a Windows overlay bug that causes the conflict with WB5, not a big issue though

Neil, I offer my apologies as I appear to have fixed my issue although it's such a weird one! I have hotkeys assigned to most programs/shortcuts on my system for quick launching anything I need - recently a very annoying problem began where there would be a 1/2 second delay from pressing any hotkey to seeing the eggtimer and my program being launched. Similar to a posting above, If I ctrl-alt-del and end the SDMCP process I get my taskbar back immediately. What is SDMCP needed for? Things are running without it okay I think.... Thanks.

My Start button/taskbar has also recently started *hanging* when I first power up my machine and log on, takes almost 2 minutes before clicking the start button works, it's an hourglass when you move over the taskbar... Would really like to know what this is as it's my only issue and it's so annoying not being able to get access to the start menu for 2 minutes. Thanks, Fedorov.

Sorry to jump in, after seeing your System Info report, my wblind.dll was dated 2005/11/28 so I requested a new registered download, just installed it yet I'm still on the same dated versions as before??? How do I get updated enhanced builds please? Many thanks Fedorov.

I've got scrollbar problems with Newsleecher (http://www.newsleecher.com) It has a VERY customized interface to begin with - main problem is if I am trying to scroll through a LARGE newsgroup header list, you cannot click and hold on the tiny scrollbar using any WB5 skin - you seem to have to have your mouse about 20-30 pixels ABOVE the scrollbar before you see it highlight to pick it up and drag it.
