I came back to Stardock for Windowblinds. I must be an odd ball to want things to look like I want. One thing I miss is RightClick. I really found that handy. I love WindowsFX and deskscapes also. I hope these stick around. Did I say I was still on Windows 7?
The resolution for me was to turn off UAC. This allowed WB to work but made settings for Right Click a one for all thing. Dang!
I recently installed vista and WindowBlinds 6. WB works fine on the administrator account from which I installed SDCentral and WB. When I create a new user, admin or standard, the WB icon does not appear in the system tray and when I start WB, the interface comes up but it is mostly black with some text like "apply my setting". I tried changing permissions, reinstalling but end up with the same thing. One other peculiar thing, when I click on start, stardock, I get a magnifying glass circlin
Well I started with a new desktop, not the provided Classic desktop, and started destopx. Hey, the T.V. viewer works! Now when I add objects, the viewer doesn't work again. I'll experiment and learn.

Thanks for the links. I looked at them and I saw that F9 and F10 are default keys for hide/unhide opbjects. This conflicts with other apps I use to actually get work done. I could not find where these defaults are located so that I could change them. Strange thing, I thought I was able to search the forums but now I do not have any search box. Yes, I looked in the lower left but there is nothing. I selected a catagory thinking that would do it but its
All this desktopX stuff LOOKS great but I'm getting frustrated. I would like to be able to read about the details of desktopX before asking questions. Is there a forum search? I'm sure the same questions get answered all the time. I maybe overlooking some of this stuff so please be nice.
Yes I can watch T.V. when DesktopX is unloaded. It works fine under WindowBlinds. I do not have a multiple monitor setup.
I loaded DesktopX for the first time and used the "no frils" version desktop. No problems there except when I open My ATI All-In-Wonder T.V. veiwer. I get good sound but a black picture. Has anybody run into this problem? Any fixes? ATI's site helps to advertise DesktopX but does not report any driver Issues. For what its worth I am using Catalyst ver. 4.5 and Multimedia Center ver. 9.0
