just installed the latest desktop x update and now icon x is no where to be found! I even have the seperate program installed but when I go to the dektop x builder, it is no longer an option (and the restore app to go back did not work either). I remember this happening one other time over a year ago? Does anyone else have this problem? Better yet, anyone have a fix for this? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Wink.gif" border=0
GCube
but does it actually "skin" the firefox browser like IE does with everything working? I know that it would work with all the windows applications.
as we discuss the so called wars, I have often times thought about switching but does firefox allow windowblinds (and all of its tools-progress animations, toolbars, etc) to work? I have been told it would not work... just wondering..
also, anybody have the link about how to properly use widgets tutorial? Does it hinder or help in memory usage to use the widgets as a stand-alone or it it more memory friendly just using the Desktop X program? (I know it can vary, but let's just say you wanted to run icon x, a weather checker, and a system monitor resource). Thanks for the help
How do you import the widget over to an object??
mine as well....I now have problems with clicking the icons on the desktop with memory errors (when I have over 50% free and never had this problem before). The same things work fine if I clik on the quick launch or launch trhough programs... need update quick... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/s
How about the issue with auto Start-up?? Do you still have to add a shortcut to your start menu to have the program run on boot-up?? This created problems for me because the weather object would never load , due to other items were starting up at the same time. Thanks..
How do you find it?? I do not see it in Stardock Central... Thanks for your help??? (is it part of the Icon Packager??)
