yeah, though I had started by trying to get visual styles to work... then went back to windowblinds which work much better... but still cant get the full effect on this OS, just trying to get this working

i also HAVE enabled theme support and have a hacked uxtheme.dll in there to use themes... enabled the web view as described here.. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kben-us819028 but so far no go... thanks D
I am having a bit of trouble getting any of the larger shellstyle images to show up... is there a way to do this? or cant windowblinds change this on the OS? Am using the souluna skin, and I see the small graphics on say a picture folder, but dont see the larger one in the right folder pane in the bottom right corner... thanks Darrin
you can try running setup_wmp.exe /Uninstall from the command line and then reinstalling ver 7.... havent tried it though
2601 is pretty old, 2848 leaked about a week or 2 ago, and it is currently the latest version... the public beta is slated to be released this week, but we shall see In any case, I really am liking this player, nice improvements (if you like the new interface) this has been my player of choice since ver 7 mostly due to the media library, which now includes searching capability Darrin
