That was really the other thing I had wondering about --- because I'd either heard or read somewhere about it only being valid for the main editions (and extensions) -- you know, like 3.1, 3.3 and so on. So ty again

It's done that to me as well on ME. And I have 512 DDR 266 feeding a 1400 AthlonXP. There is NO reason for ANY memory problems on my machine, and yet it's happened to me as well. I think SysMetrix isn't FULLY compatible with the GUI handling on WinME. I also run Win2k on another partition, and have NEVER had it so much as blink funny. Same with XP -- so I suspect that it's a fault in WinME somewhere. Here's another example. There's a neat little program called Rainlend

Actually it adds to both Appearance AND Themes. Sorting it all out is guess work as to WHY (and HOW is another matter entirely). I refuse to use the competition, for that very reason. And I would think after a YEAR they could improve on their program.... That's the reason I use Stardock products. The competition, while many of the skins ARE good, just can't update and improve often enough to keep me interested.

I have to say, after downloading the Shareware versions of each OB version as they have been released, that THIS one is the most well-behaved version yet. Good job fellas! This was the version of OB that I was waiting for --- and OB was the ONLY reason I didn't buy the OD cd yet. I have ONE question remaining in my mind before I place my order for Object Desktop --- how long do I get the updates before I have to pay for it again? Until verson 4.0 of WB, 2.0 of OB, etc.? <img src="ht
