After returning from standby on an XP system the system is slowed down to a crawl by CursorFX. It is using around 50% of the CPU. After a while it settles down. Mike

How can I configure it so when I select text it will select to the left of a character if the cursor is in the left half of the character? As it is you have to be all the way to the left of the character. I have played with the "X" and "Y" of the text select cursor but it doesn't seem to have any effect. Mike
Is version 1.90 Build 536 supposed to work in Win 2K Pro? It seems to run ok but it disappears after a short time.
I meant a trial version of WB5 for licensed WB4 users.
How about a trial version to see if we want to upgrade? Mike
Just to follow up on this ... someone on the Stardock newsgroup suggested the following: Using Skin Studio, edit: Miscellaneous Presets Font Presets 00 Font It worked! Crissy: Just to let you know, I modified "Percale". Thanks again, send me your mailing address ([email protected]) and I'll send you a reggae sampler CD.
Crissy: I think the problem might be WB 4.1 on Win2K. I just tried your Percale skin, it looked like the screenshot except for the taskbar buttons which were small and unreadable like "HotOne". It doesn't happen on all skins but quite a few.
I tried editing them all also.
Yes, normal. And I'd be glad to make you a CD!
Yeah, that's what I want it to look like. Oh well, thanks for your help. It's a long shot but if you're into reggae music, check my site (niceup.com) and let me know if I can make you a CD or two.
I've tried that. It changes the font in the preview pane the font changes but when I save it and load it, the old fonts remain.
Uis2 It's called "HotOne"
WB 4.1 - Windows 2000 Pro
I've tried it both ways.
> make sure the dialog says the following: "i want to leave fonts the default size" and "all skin defined fonts are replaced by---leave fonts alone" Yes it does.
Just looked at your desktop image and that's what I'm trying to do. It seems like I can change the font in Skin Studio and the fonts will change in the preview pane view of the horizontal task bar button but when I save the skin and load it the fonts all always the same in the horizontal task bar buttons
Downloaded the lastest beta, 3.9.6. >In the left tree go to "taskbar"-->"taskbar button" . >In the right tree in the fonts section, be sure to >"add a new font" otherwise you will be changing the >default font for the rest of the skin. Did the above as suggested. Then tried to edit "Font - Normal" as a number, channged it from #5 to #10. Saved the skin but nothing changed.
Unfortunately I think I have the latest free version.
You're right, I'm not understanding. I'm not using desktop->classic taskbar. I don't see anywhere to "add a new font"
I'm trying to increase the font size of the program names that appear across the taskbar. Using Skinstudio, I changed the font sizes on Desktop->Taskbar->Taskbar Button->Taskbar Button Horizontal but nothing changed. WB4.1/Win2K [Message Edited]
Doesn't seem to work, maybe they aren't taskbar buttons. What I want to change is font of the names of the programs I have open.
Any tips as to how? I can't find anything about task bar fonts. WB4.1 for Win2K
Any way to change task bar fonts?
