I've noticed that WB5 will only recognize WB5 skins, I'm unable to use any of my previous skins. SD Central had a WB4.6 restore error before the update to WB5. All else seems to work well from what I can tell at the moment.

Nice job Stardock! I look forward to trying this out.
Thanks BlueDev, I appreciate it! Can't wait to try this out.
I would love some gmail if anyone has any invites left. If you do, thanks in advance!! [email protected]
Hippy, That's funny you mention that my Mac is still $449 more then an OD sub, cuz I have one of those as well Like I said, I like both PC and Mac, that's why I have both and took great pleasure building my PC. Party On! LoL And keep them sweet skinz comin'
Hippy, I agree with Macrobaye about the costs of Macs. I grabbed a 700mhz E-Mac floor model last year for $499 from an apple store near me. You can find deals if you look around on the apple site by the refurbs. Don't get me wrong, I love my PC just as much and wouldn't want to give up either. They're both useful in thier own ways.
As someone else mentioned, Usanity Shapeshifter is to Mac as Stardock Object Desktop is to Windows. What would Stardock offer that would be different than Usanity? Not that I don't love Stardock, I run it my work and home machines and I use Usanity on my Mac, I'm just curious what the differences could be.
Nothing in the readme Thornz, but I figured my whole hard drive was eaten already, so I had nothing to lose by trying a different version of SD Central. My Ghost backup is only set up to give me a clean install of XP with all the current Windows Updates and Service Packs/Drivers from when I made the back up so I at least didn't have to do 3 hours worth of downloads of Windows Updates. Too bad I lost everything else (guilt trip to Stardock ::cough, hint cough:: Anything nice being done for us vic
....Ask, hope, any thy shall recieve, LoL. I installed an older version of SD Central and it auto-updated itself to a newer version, 99b.141 and when I rebooted, all worked fine. I think you'll be safe, but I'd still keep your fingers crossed and pray to the big skinning guy in the sky and/or the great drinking hangover god of the toilet bowl after a long night of 12 oz. arm curls, LoL. I think they caught the bug in time before it wiped out all thier customers computers and lost all thier busi
Thornz, I feel for you man! I appreciate the info, now I know not to go anywhere near SD Central v.99. I had a feeling one of the Stardock progz spanked me good, at least now I know which one. I'll try v.98, hopefully that works out ok, if not I guess I'll only be burning about 10 min of restore time again since I'm on a clean windows install at the moment anyways. Thanks again Thornz, that helps me out a LOT!
Is anyone having problems with the newest version of WB4 or Skin Studio 3 from Stardock Central (On XP Pro SP1a)? I updated to the newest versions, reboot as prompted and I get locked out of booting up windows with a nice little message saying "NTLDR NOT FOUND, Press Ctrl, Alt, Del to restart this machine". Luckily I have my system backed up with Norton Ghost, so restoring from that saves me, but this is crazy and I've had to do this 3 times yesterday after trying to figure out what went wrong
Has anyone has any issues Using Mike B's BFG Nvidia skins on wb4? They were working fine on wb3.5 but after I installed wb over The skins got bugs on the task and quick launch bars, essentially they're missing and just showing a hollow black outline. I was curious if it was computer/windows or if it was wb4 or the skins. If anyone can help or has info I'd appreciate it, thanks! <img src="http://images.s
These skins are sweet! Hey, has anyone had any problems on wb 4 with the 2 skins that Mike B did? On wb 3.5 they work fine, on wb 4 the center portion of the taskbar and parts of the quick launch bars are "missing". I was just curious if I was the only one or if others had the same problem too on wb 4.
