Thanks for the response Neil. The sub style stuff just takes some getting used to, and my multitasking ways are not necessarily the norm. Couple more suggestions/complaints I still have after playing more in SK6. - I wholeheartedly concur on the missing Zoomed Color Picker. I realize you have a generic zoom, but still I used the old one ALL the freakin' time because of how it worked. - I miss the auto zoomed in preview of image while setting Margins. Seems like

SK6 is a complete pile of waste compared to SK5. Loosing the tabbed, MDI based environment in favor for a locked focus popup wizard is just plain a BAD idea. BAD IDEA'S / BUGS ------------- Controls Tree View - Poorly labeled - Bad Sorting - No Right Click menu Popup Windows VS MDI - Can't open more than one section at a time. - Focus is locked to newly created popup frame. Can no longer right click, Delete a section.<br
The new studio is crap compared to the old one. You can't click on an object in ANY preview window to jump to editing that object. You can't right click on the tree view, the tree view is poorly labeled and sorted. Need to delete a section? Tough luck, you can't anymore. I always remove the per pixel title bar and buttons. They suck since you can't add buttons or change functionality of buttons. I must be able to change the maximize button into an Always on top button. In the ne
Lets get a special OS2 WB skin package. A Classic OS/2 and a New OS/2 look to compete with Vista. Maybe a few of those first skins when Windowblinds was back on OS/2. I am a big fan of the classic OS skins like OS/2, NextStep, Win32, BeOS (My Favorite).
How about a "Classic Skinz Pack" I am a big fan of the classic simple skins from the old days. I use modified win31, os2, beos, nextStep style skins mostly and would love to see some old school faviorites from the creators.
Sienfield Cronicles perhaps? Del Boca Vista? or That 70's Show... The Vista Cruiser?
How about pitting these two political powers against each other! The Head of Richard Nixon (From Futurama) vs. Kang (From Simpsons) Grats on the press guys. I am glad to see people expanding the typical game genre's, and getting it to work.
Kids desktop, hunts for installed versions of known educational software and makes large crayon like buttons for the kids to get to it easily. Also can include things like a large number calculator and shape/color/number games that play on the desktop itself. Official skinz for upcoming game/movie releases. Easier said than done, but push on in this realm. Prince-O-Persia 2, SplinterCell3 and so on are all good candidates. Sports Fans Desktop, hooks into live stats for the t
Before the WinCustomize v4 .NET site goes live, could you be sure and have a QA guy hit it up with Opera 7.5. It's not as popular as IE, but it is a widely used and respected browser. It would suck beyond compare to have to go elsewhere for skinz. Thanks Guys, Syonin (Aka: The Grumpy Old Man)
With thousands of better concieved and more completely implimented skins on this very site, I find it difficult to shell out any amount of cash on this theme. Even if it was tree-fi'dy and came with a $3 discount on my next Spiderman movie ticket. Nothing pisses me off more than downloading a theme and then having to finish it, because the artist was too lazy to finish before submiting. How much would the Spiderman comics be worth if Stan got done with the first 3 pages and then said, "aaah t
I personaly like reading other dev's opinions on the shareware/small app world. I make bussiness apps all day and dream up small fun apps at night and I certainly wouldn't want someone rippin' off me and calling it innovative and new. At least not unless they paid me for it. PS: Frogboy, take out your soapbox and preach, whine, moan, stand up on the bar and piss all over it...it's not my house, it's yours. Enjoy.
If there is a OBar2 comming and a CC2 based on Obar2 technology, can we expect a new TLP based on OD+ technology?
I have been on ODNT since it came to the windows world, and I must say that most of Stardocks products are right on the money. I have OD+ but not CursorXP+ and the usefull parts of ODNT on all the machines I do work on. However, something is bothering me about all this OD+ talk. Control Center, Tab Launchpad, and Objectbar all are valued members of the ODNT. I could not work without them at this point. Now comes along OD+ which could (with a little effort) take the place of all three of the
I am a long time ODNT member, and I love it. The purpose behind ODNT is to package productivity and customization tools together with continual updates on all its apps. Application made by Stardock that do not fit the Productivity portion do not belong in ODNT. This is why CursorXP+ is not in ODNT and should not be. However, TabLaunchpad is in ODNT and rightly so it helps me dramaticaly with productivity. ObjectDock, in its Freeware existance was almost as much a productivity boost as Tabla
exageration is a motivational tool. I am aware there are actually some still out there. However for every usable skin made, 5 are made that may cause permanent eye damage. I am simply looking to sway those odds.
Bright blue on blue, hot pinks, bright reds, neon greens, orange.... It seems like this is the bulk of skins getting made these days. Do you people actually work on your computer with these colors burning into your retena's? Has soft, easy-on-the-eye, usable skins gone the way of the Dodo? [prove me wrong by posting skins that do not require a warning for "May Cause Seizure"]
