I have chosen a custom start button that I downloaded from WinCustomize and it does not show as a start button. I am using WindowBlind. Is there a setting that enables the use of a Start 11 custom button somewhere that I need to set?

Might be updated but I would have rather kept my old Fences layout. Even though I told it not to dump the settings, nothing is back to where it was. Never had trouble with updating this, so why now? I am pissed. I have to recreate everything I had and I don't have the time. It shouldn't be this hard to update. My fault for using a Beta.
I have downloaded installed and rebooted 4 times now, and this update is just an endless loop. Please advise what is wrong, or if I should ignore the update.

How do I mute the sound in deskscapes. I see how to turn volume to Quieter but I want it off. There should be a way to do that but I can't find it.
The issue seems to be fixed. I am not sure how often the pop up window was appearing, but it has been a week and no sign of it. If it shows up again, I will reopen this, but otherwise this inquiry can be closed.
I am sorry if I was not clear. It is not asking for an activation. The window that pops up is saying an update is available. If I update, the window still comes up. Separate from this, if I check using Windows FX (yes, before the update pop up window is closed), FX tells me I am using the most current version, i.e., no update is necessary.
Window FX update window keeps popping up even though Object Desktop says I have the most current version. I have tried downloading and installing from the pop window numerous times and it keeps popping up. Why is this happening if I already have the newest version?
Yes, moved Documents folder. But most installations will not let me install elsewhere and the programs do not all follow the same protocols.
Not what I am asking. I want the Stardock stuff stored elsewhere. Most programs allow me to put stuff where I want it. I know how to find large files.
Well, then I guess I should ask why on my machine I do not have all those folders since I have almost all of those programs installed (no Tiles). And is there no way to locate them elsewhere? C drive is fuller than I want it.
Only ones there are for CursorFX, Curtains, and IconPackager. No DeskScapes. No WindowBlinds. And I still need to know how to set the default folders. I do not want these on my C drive.
No, you are not understanding. Not asking for Download location. Asking where the file is placed AFTER INSTALLATION. For example, I download a new dream for DeskScapes. I then click to install it. Where does it go? The downloaded file can be deleted and the installed file(s) have to be somewhere because they still work. I want default locations for every program (like WindowBlinds, CursorFX, DeskScapes, etc.) and how these default locations can be relocated.
Seems this still is not organized. Why is there no central location for installed items from Wincustomize that we use for our desktop programs? They seem to be all over the place depending on which program/app it pertains to. We need a way to set a DEFAULT location for these items that are installed. If there is one, I can't seem to find it. Win10 v1909 build 18363.815 I have been seeing this since I installed the first Beta. At first, the delay was not as long, but not it has gotten worse. When I close or minimize open windows, and end up at the desktop, the desktop is non-functional. I have WindowsBlinds, Fences, and Deskscapes running at the same time (all newest versions). Basically, I have to wait for the desktop to work again after I close the windows. Nothing works. No icons appear. I can't even get to the taskbar

Ok, that setting does not matter - but the best part of this message is that the final release version which I just installed - no longer has the issue that I had with Fences - with either setting. So whatever changed in that final release apparently cleared up the problem as DeskScapes 10 is now working properly. The computer gods have complied with my wishes. Thanks.

Tried Beta 3 and got the same thing as Beta 1 and 2. Fences goes bananas and is useless with a video running and the wallpaper blacks out if I use a wallpaper through DeskScapes 10 B3. Is there a way to troubleshoot this without losing the thread. I get so far with someone and then there are other replies that do not pertain and no one answers me. Otherwise, I am done using version 10. Version 8 worked fine on my system.
Also, I should make note here - I changed the wallpaper to a straight wallpaper, and it works fine with Fences and everything enabled. HOWEVER, the wallpaper disappears and leaves a black screen (i.e., no wallpaper). But the Fences flickering only happens if a DeskScapes video is running.
Ok, I have done Clean Boot and both Fences and DeskScapes 10 Beta 2 are working fine together. How do you want me to go about reenabling programs to figure out which one is causing the problem?
Finally ^^^ - I am not the only one with a negative reaction with Fences installed!
I had already tried this with Beta 1 - it did not change a thing.
