Took it off the scheduled start and it has been free of craziness since.

Since I had ObjectDock scheduled to start at some point after bot, now it starts every time with the Settings window opened. How do I stop that from happening?
Is there anything available on how to use the Deskscapes 2026 Animation Editor? Even something simple like taking a static wallpaper and adding an effect to it. And how to test what you create without publishing it.
Not doing this. It is not enough of an issue for me to waste time on it. Thanks for the help, but at this point I am closing this thread. Apparently it has something to do with the laptop and software on it. I just do not have the time to do all of this and risk having the machine rendered useless.
Installed Codec Standard package and it changed nothing. And I found another problem: when I search for other animations in the app, it crashes. None of these problems exist on my desktop PC installation.
I wouldn't know how to update the codec. Setting was already on DirectShow.
Did all of the purge on the laptop. Still not working like the one on my desktop. For example, when I go to apply an animated wallpaper, on the top right before I even apply it, the screen is black (this is above the effects listing). However, I did get it to function after I applied the paper to the monitor.
Did not work. It keeps moving around. In fact, yesterday, it showed up on my second monitor. I am completely lost as to why it does not stay where it is put as it did for YEARS. All this is doing is wasting my time. Makes zero sense.
So after a few days of the stupid thing opening where it should, today it moved again. Set delay as outlined in #11 for 30 minutes.
I will keep this in mind if it starts acting up again. Since I posted last reply, it has stayed where I placed it - for the last 3 days. I am leaving well enough alone for now.
Today I tried updating version 11 to 2026 on my laptop. 2026 has been working flawlessly on my desktop since it was released. Well, not so with the laptop. When I went to apply a wallpaper to the monitor, it came up black. Thought it was the wallpaper, so I tried a few others. Same thing. What does work are the effects. I applied the rain to the paper and I got the rain but no wallpaper behind it. After trying to uninstall Desktop 11 (where it uninstalled 2026 and left just the app showing as
Nope - still not staying where I put it. Does not make sense.
I used Autorun Organizer and set it for 30 second delay. First boot ok. Want to see how it goes over the next few days.
Unfortunately, this morning on reboot, the tabbed dock moved back to the left upper corner again. So NOT fixed...
FYI, after 2 reboots, the dock has stayed where I put it. So - not sure why - but at this point it appears to be "fixed."
Ok, I did what you asked. After reboot I started OD and it was right where I placed it, i.e., no issue with the placement. I am going to turn the Startup back on, reboot and see what happens next.
Dual monitors: Main 1920 x 1080 - DisplayPort Second 1680 x 1050 - DVI Dock is located on Main Display
Yes, I know all of this. It IS set for top edge of screen. And after I position it on the top where I want it, I click the Lock Dock Position. I reboot and the damn thing is on the top edge but all the way to the left. Every time since this started happening.
I do not have the pop up menus on my version which says it is 3.01 - says that it is up to date. I did figure out how to get it dragged again, However, locking the dock position does not work. Upon reboot, the dock slides over to the top left. It is quite annoying to have to move it out of my way. Why did this suddenly change as it always stayed where I placed it after reboot until recently. I do not even think I updated the OD app. <img style="float: right;" src="https://cdn.stardock.us
I noticed a week ago, one of my ObjectDocks was moved. I assumed that I inadvertently or accidentally dragged it to that spot. I moved it back, and this morning when I booted up it was back in the left top corner. I went to drag it and it would not move. I have no clue why this is happening or how to fix it, and I really don't want to uninstall it and start over. Can someone help?
I finally got this to work, but had to uninstall and reinstall the program. (I first tried a repair and that did not work.) Since I had no Recently Installed showing, I ended up creating a new shortcut and used the previous method to finally get it to show up on the Start 11 Menu. It still makes no sense why the original shortcuts did not work, but I have had enough of trying to figure this out. It works now. So thanks for the assistance.
I doubt you have it. It is Professional Numerologist v. 5.2.2
I need details on what you are asking for. The file is a shortcut file to open a program. I have compared it to shortcuts that work and I see nothing different.
Working on this today and found that I CAN add icons the way I said, just NOT THE ONE I WAS TRYING TO ADD. It is an older program, but I am baffled as to why it won't add. I even tried creating a new shortcut to the file it opens and that one is not visible to add even though I paced it in the Programs folder. So why would certain shortcuts not have the ability to be added to the Start11 Menu? What would be different than other icons that I can add?? Does anyone have a clue?
I am not using Sandbox. Last time we used this it was a royal pain in the butt to get everything running. I have nothing else running that alters Start panel that I know of. Last time we troubleshot I found the problem and you did nothing with that info anyway. So should I just use the windows troubleshooting process by turning shit on and off? Sandbox is more work than it is worth. I have nothing but freaking problems with Windows 11. Have redone my whole damn computer in the last year and c
