Hoping it gets out of Beta soon.. been having the same problem and driving me nuts.
I've found a bug related to the integration with the Taskbar. What's happening is that clicking on a taskbar item is creating a second instance of the application rather than bringing interacting with the existing application. More specifically, I have this happening with Outlook and I believe it may be related to multi-monitors and grouped application windows. I can reproduce the problem. It does not happen when I turn off "enhance the taskbar". Steps to reproduce: 1)
Hardest part was finding the right thread to reply to, as older ones were locked and it wasn't obvious. In any case, I had 1.47 and noticed the problem there, but couldn't report it in that thread. IE has some features that may be better than Firefox ( it loads faster due to parts of it always running as part of the Windows OS), This is because IE is preloaded as part of the OS. You can recreate this behavior and make FF load faster, by setting it to preload as well. Change the properties

It would be nice if these SDTV videos could actually be found off of the Stardock website. I checked all over and they certainly aren't somewhere obvious. Someone else mentioned an archive so I'd like to assume if the links were put up, there would be links to all of the videos created so far.
My problem is that the installation of the b3 client destroyed all my docks that were already created with the b2 version!!! That's really kinda annoying.. *sigh*
What are some of the other options that can be set in the wb.ini? I know about the SizeLimit, and a few others. My wb.ini had gotten wiped out. I was using a combination of the sizelimit and *something else* that actually showed my borders when maximized. Sizelimit by itself isn't doing it. I figured a good list of all the options people are aware of would be a good thing to have.
Well ChiChiGirl46, once I added the size limit it did stop "cutting off" the top borders. have you tried that? I was really surprised to hear someone else say that they all experience the same problem and that it's theexpected behavior!! How silly is that? It looks HORRIBLE. How can skin authors be happy to have part of their skin cut off, and this be the default behavior... That absolutely baffles me.
Nope. Switched different monitors too. So if this is the expected behavior (as indicated above) that means that all of you are missing pixels at the tops of your WB windows when you maximize them, correct?
Does that mean that when a skin author makes a skin they have to include a "maximized" and a "non-maximized" title bar? For example, say they want their control box to be centered in the upper right corner. It looks fine when restored, but when it's maximized if you are saying that it is supposed to cut off 4 pixels, then it will no longer be. Windows certainly doesn't behave that way without WB. Sure, it might not have a sizing handle, but it doesn't appear to cut anything off. Try the
Would every skin author be adding that though? This seems to happen on every skin I use. It was also only happening for the top pixels, not for anything on the side or bottoms. I really don't want to edit every UIS I get. As far as other handlers go, no-- I'm not running anything else. I've had the problem with Win98, 98se, and now XP. I've had this problem with every version of WB I've used for the past 2 years, and I've had different machines running it on, different video cards etc. The problem is when a window is maximized, the top few pixels of the window disappear. This causes the min/max/close icons to sometimes get "cut-off". Normally they would be centered exactly in the title bar. I see on most of the screenshots from XP that people have pcitures and cool designs next to their name in the Start Menu. I've set a picture in XP, but it never displays. The only thing I could think would be a problem was an obscure reference I saw in a help file about non-domain computers. Could my problem be that my system accesses an NT network? Or is there something else people are using to produce those images and skins?
