As being the one of the persons involved with OSXP.net, in response to MikeB314....a lot of hard work and time went into the site, as well as the creation and coversion of products offered. As far as "innovation" is concerned, we just wanted to offer the "OSX" look for others who did not have a Mac. In fact that is what prompted me to buy myself a brand new Mac. People at Aqua-Soft.org are actually spending a lot of time to bring programs and the like to XP that are enjoyed on other platforms. A

Uh...I think LancerKMT needs a lesson in gramar. Correct me if I am wrong, but every post thus far has contained some undecipherable word misplacement that has befuddled me in to a state of facesciousness. Heh...just wanted him to get some use out the link you gave him boXXi. ps-did anyone "gift" him copy of Object Bar..Heh heh

Cool. Thanks for the input. I have a handle process svchost.exe running at 1,358. That sucks. And there is two instances of them running. Oh well that is Micro$oft for ya. Keep up the good work here. I really (and others I'm sure) really appreciate the time and effort put into this site.

I was just talking about skinning in the folders and such how the left "pane" area can be a different color or scheme than the actual folder background itself. I like that look a lot and think it distinguishes XP from the previous OS's. In WB, the left "pane"(for heaven's sake, I can't think of what that area is called in XP:() is just the color of the theme (i.e. the whole folder background) rather than looking as a separate entity, which is sometimes overwhelming if you have a skin that has a

OK. That is wonderful and all, but why don't you show the regular folders (i.e. my docs, my computer, or something like those). I'm not disagreeing that WB is better than StyleXP, however I'm just wondering why on StyleXP you can skin the left options area really nicely, and on WB you can't yet?

All I have to ask is when WB is going to actually going to be able to skin the left side option area on XP (in folders and such). Compared to the skinning capabilities of Styles XP, I think WB is down on just that note. As far as skins go, there is no doubt WB is on top. But come on XP has a nice look, and when you apply a skin and it is just bright white on the left side area, that kinda ruins it.

I actually have found a way to fix it too... Check out my Aqua Bar mod at this site just posted a few days ago. Deggy posted it for me (Rick S). However, if you download it and it is back to normal(or abnormal) there is a way through Skin Studio to fix it. I don't know why sometimes it doesn't hold it when uploading???

Ah-ha. Skin Studio is locking up on you too?? It seems very unstable. The bar I am working on is www.urbanslurp.com/downloads.htm. It is the "Aqua" and not the "Agua". I have the latest version of Skin Studio..I think 1.5.0 build 398 or something. All other settings hold though except the shadowing. That is the only setting that doesn't hold. It is driving me nutzo.

Thanks. I am definitely saving before I exit, and immediately the theme goes back to its original state. I am really getting frustrated. As long as I have Skin Studio open, the shadowing is fine (the shadowing is the only setting it doesn't seem to save) all other like font and size save fine?!

Hello again. On the Aquabar theme for Object bar, the lucida grande font should look "lifted"(from shadow effects) on the Apple bar. However, it just looks like normal. When I go into the settings and change the shadow effect to on, it looks better, but when I save it and exit, it goes back to its prior state. Is it me??

Thanks for the input. So Style XP isn't original then. I thought that TGT Soft had like developed a way to skin XP through their software (i.e. WB). So actually-- their application just provides a way to change the "look" rather than create something from scratch per say? I mean you can make a theme with Stylebuilder (like over an original), but you can create something from scratch with WB. Am I correct in my perception?

Sorry for posting so many ?'s. I've had all these questions with no one to answer them (until I came here ) Why is it that Styles XP skins look better and actually skin the left-hand selection screen in windows explorer and WB skins are all just plain white on the left and look blah? I am not at all dissing WB nor am I promoting TGT Soft (thinks they need to charge for a beta release?!?!) However I am new to

Oh...also, icon packs I download that say they come with cursors don't have them available either. I got Cursor XP which is the bomb, so thats cool and all, but I think maybe something is wrong with my IconPackager or something is wrong with me.

I've done the rebuilding several times. When I go into the systems icon part of it some of the icons it's showing as my system icons actually aren't the current icons I'm using. Now I know there is a problem where you can't change the drive icons in XP yet due to a bug or something (per Micro$ofts wonderful tech support) but even icons like my IE icon shows up wrong in iconpackager.

Hello fellas... I am new to this site and skinning and the such. However, I have been using Stardock prods for about a year now. I am running into a serious compatability issue with IconPackager and XP. Help. What?! I said help. What?! Just kidding. Um...Does anyone else have this prob, and if so is Stardock doing anything about this? Word.
