Question about Windowblinds in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

First off I'm very offended that I'm made to download a damn program just to sign up for the message boards. I'm going to uninstall the Stardock program as soon as I've posted because I bet it's spyware and is an outrage. Second I have a question about Windowblinds. Does it run in the background all the time or just when I change skins?
